Hello,

lol ... so easy the explanation.
Many thanks for the small mod-patch of yours - works like a charm.

Started a new run yesterday, this time with Tav the Dark Urge, wanting to see the story with the real protagonist (of course with my usual alter ego Human Male Fighter/Wizard/Rogue char I came to love, since I got my hand on the 3.0 PHP the first time, almost 25 years ago).

Image

Normally I don't use hirelings - I consider the heroes to be Tav/Durge and his six companions.
The point that I have hirelings is just for class-combination tests ... and using Maddala as Bardlock creates a bug the moment meeting the first steelwatchter at the Rivington checkpoint.

Whenever I take Maddala into the party afterwards it automatically unlocks the "Down with the Steel Oppressors! (Deafat a Steel Watcher)", even retroactively, even if no Steelwatcher was even defeated.

But the game seems to put a counter here, and when this Inspiration gets unlocked it seems to block or lock-out "Kicking the Rust Bucket (Destroy a Steel Watcher)" for Lae'zel.
Same in case the first Steelwatcher is removed (combat, by telekinesis or Roaring Thunder Arrow into the next Chasm) in Rivington and not in Lower City - the Construct counts as defeated, but Lae'zels Inspiration seems tied to Lower City, and destrying the first watcher there (usually in the basement of Baldur's Mouth) does not give the inspiration anymore.

Well, so much, time for bed.
I bid you farewell, and great many thanks.

The Sword Coast will be a serene place. (We should install No Alphabets.) A beautiful, serene place of mystery and peace. It will not be a place for women to infect with their white eyelashes. Or where the Chultans will be allowed to wear their pants around their ankles. All of that will go. (Once we install Realms Restored 3.0.) Black Flaming Fists will be fired, and socialist professors from the Briel's School of the Arcane will have to beg in the streets. We'll pour our beers into their begging hats and laugh. (When it's comes out by the way?)

I have some more feedback regarding the druids in the Emerald Grove. The shadow druid, Mistress Olodan, has a bug where her earrings are floating in the air and unattached to her head. Additionally, because her race was swapped from a halfling to a full sized human, the camera couldn't see her face during the reveal cinematic where she rolls her eyes at Rath. I definitely wouldn't mind her reverting back to being a halfling if it means these bugs can be fixed. Also, there are four druid npcs in the grove that didn't have their appearances changed and still remain in vanilla clothing; they are Apikusis, Loic, Marcoryl, and Findal. That's all for now. I'll let you know if I find anything else.

I wanted to note my appreciation for the hard work that has been put into both Realms Restored, and the other mods in the series such as No Alphabets, Wylls of Toril, and others to make this game playable. I appreciate your continued support of them. Playing without them at this point would be impossible. I had originally written the whole game off, but now I can enjoy what it should have been. You have crafted the Definitive Edition of Baldur's Gate 3. To everyone who has been involved, thank you.

I've left my game unattended for too long, and now so many of the mods in my install list are outdated that I'll probably have to redo the entire thing from scratch. That just means I can have a fresh experience with this mod though. I'll wait until version 3 is ready though. Not in a rush, but I'm just posting to know that you've got a fan in me.

Thank you, how about Zarys, the Zhentarim leader in Waukeen's Rest? I came across her yesterday and saw that her portrait hasn't updated and doesn't match how she looks. Also, her corpse also doesn't glow properly when used Speak with Dead. Might be worth looking into if you're not already aware.

Zarys' head is on the chopping block for a different project. Don't fret my pet, and be patient.

I do think you're doing yourself a disservice by not playing Dark Urge your first playthrough (quite literally the entire main narrative is BUILT around Durge), but you can just select Soulless Husk. All we did was rename Custom
This should probably be noted on the front page. Not even NPC/generic Tavs like to be called a soulless husk and wondering what that entails lol.

That said, I like the nudge towards playing Durge. Larian no doubt intended it to replace the generic PC that received a lot of criticism for being bland relative to the origin characters in DOS2.

It was a very confused development.
You had one camp that very much wanted to continue the Bhaalspawn Saga, and another that wanted to go all in on the Illithid demigod stuff alone.
The "Dark Urge" is the original Bhaalspawn protagonist, while the Illithid story is more aligned to a user-made character with the Githyanki girl as the prime companion.

Frankly, the other companions were all shoehorned in to some degree.
The cleric girl was clearly deliberately and rather clumsily inserted into the Illithid story, while the other non-legacy characters (McNigger, VampFag, Horndog Mage & Druid, and the Devil and Drow DommyMommies) don't really fit anywhere.
I think the half-devils are all there because of some ****** WOTC adventures that I had no interest in looking at.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

I hate this term so much.
Valid. The people that made it up and adhere to the idea are despicable.

If you could make a custom party with ease, and had custom dialogue, examples being Paladin, Dwarf (non-Balduran), halfling rogue, or a ranger. It would be worth a custom run. I honestly don't imagine The Durge being anything else other than a sorcerer or a fighter.

Do all the full-blooded Drows have bright white eyebrows and glowing eyes?
Asking this because I am using https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/13022 for Minthara and can't decide between using the full mod or only her equipment. Reason being she is going to stand out more than Lae'zel or Karlach in Act 3 if I go with the full mod.

Consider Drow Commander if you like Minthara to be more feminine while changing her Spidersilk Armour into something more appropriate for her default class.

How does changing her colors make her more manly? The face is identical.
Also that mod doesn't change the look of her armor which is the whole point, she should have a cultist armor like everyone else.
