WJ Unlocked v3.1 updated again to WJ v4.0.4.0. Nothing a firewall can't stop.

Edit: To prevent WJ Unlocked from updating to WJ, you have to block the launcher's outgoing connections in your firewall. This is where it's auto update ability is located.
You have to allow \4.0.3.0\Wabbajack.exe to get out though, otherwise it won't be able to download anything.

And FYI, WJ v4.0.4.0 is bugged, so WJ Unlocked will need to skip that version. When installing a Fallout 4 modpack, it looks for Fallout 76.

I don't know if I'm stupid, but when I install modlist (phoenix flavor) it asks me to open Steam, when I launch the game from mod organizer Steam complains about licenses or something like that and the game doesn't launch, I don't know what to do, I think I'll try the GOG version of Skyrim to see if I have better luck.

So this is a post-installation issue with Mod Organizer 2? I can take a look if so

The installation of the mod list was without apparent errors, the problem is when launching the game from MO2, I already deleted everything i want to try again with the GOG version, the previous one was from Steamrip ;)

Can you make sure this isn't set on your Executable?
Image

Some modlists copy your Base Game to MO2 and then use that to launch the game, but the lists have this set in order to still register on Steam. I'm guessing that's what's happening and you just need to unset it

So I need to have that option unchecked?, tomorrow I will try everything again and see if it works, thanks for responding

Does this version of WabbaJack let me choose the install location instead of forcing me to install at the root of C: drive?

Wabbajack Unlocked does not crack games. You have to do that post install.

For most modpacks, it's a simple matter of dropping the crack in the proper folder. For a few, you also have to edit GameData.json according to your cracked files. Some modpacks also have a 2nd copy of the game buried in the folder structure that also needs the cracked files. Wasteland Reborn for Fallout 4 is one like that, 2 copies of the game, plus GameData.json.

If you start with a cracked game and a modpack downgrades the game, your cracked files will be replaced with legit.

I see, I downloaded a cracked copy of Skyrim (steamrip) and downloaded the modlist with wabbajack unlocked without errors, but mod organizer asks for steam to be open, when launching the game Steam complains about licenses

If you have properly cracked a modpack, MO2 will still complain about Steam not running. This is built into MO2 and has nothing to do with any modpack.
Choose the middle option to run the game anyway. There's a checkbox below the 3 options to make it remember your choice so it won't ask again.

Yeah, I'll try that, I'm downloading a modlist right now, thanks (But the speed of nexus free sucks)

Phoenix Flavor, It is relatively small in size, I couldn't download a 250GB modlist at 2MB/s.

Sometimes you have to manually download mods and add them to the download folder. It seems to be very common with large mods, but sometimes happens with small ones as well.
You can also look for a temp folder within your Nordic Souls folder and delete it, then try again.

Hi, It still doesn't work, Steam complains about licenses or something, even though I tried to crack the game once the modlist was downloaded, I'll try again later ;=/

It’s C++ and uses QT. I had to fight with it for like 2 days to build a beta version successfully only to realize they provided the beta builds on Discord
