Playing Halo 1 again recently I did kind of shudder at how sassy she is. It was a different time, I hadn't gotten girl boss fatigue yet back in the day.Oyster Sauce wrote: β February 5th, 2025, 05:15I wish Cortana looked like thisVergil wrote: β February 5th, 2025, 05:15Oyster Sauce wrote: β February 5th, 2025, 05:094 years after launch they've added a game mode that's been around for decades

I liked when she calls you a barbarian because it made me think of Diablo 2Vergil wrote: β February 5th, 2025, 05:17Playing Halo 1 again recently I did kind of shudder at how sassy she is. It was a different time, I hadn't gotten girl boss fatigue yet back in the day.

What's your opinion of myth?
Does Myth have a Legendary difficulty?

I know for a fact that's not true ![]()
What did he mean by this...
The game features Grunts vs Elites. I’m guessing nobody wants to be an elite
How is this guy so funny on accident, I could never write this kind of grade a bait if you gave me one million years.
I wouldn't. It is okay for things to end. 3 was a good stopping point. And the OG creators are long gone. You wouldn't buy tickets to a "Metallica" concert that starred people who weren't Metallica, would you? There are two original members of Metallica: Lars Ulrich and James Hetfield. They have always been in the band. If they are not present, then you do not have Metallica. You do not have Star Wars without George Lucas. Final Fantasy without Sakaguuchi and Kitase. MGS without Kojima. Etc. If you don't have the creators involved, then it's a corpo fanfic skinsuit.
I've never seen a more boomer quote in my life.
That's cool but if you had to save Halo as per the question asked how would you?Val the Moofia Boss wrote: β September 15th, 2025, 19:10I wouldn't. Destiny was a neat idea for the new Bungie (remember, corporations are revolving doors of people. The team that made Destiny is not the same one that made Halo). Somewhat similar but made by people who are passionate about it rather than being told to continue to churn out more sequels to their predecessors' vision. Shame what happened to it.
Move on from the Master Chief. New story about a different squad of military people (not just spartans) exploring some other part of the universe and new aliens there. Have rotating PoVs rather than a set main protagonist that you can't move on from. That way you can have more gameplay variety, ie one chapter as a spartan on the ground running around marking targets, and then the next you are playing as an aircraft pilot doing a bombing run, etc. Keep the story to a minimum, people are mainly here for the gameplay. Also keep the budget down so you can have the game coming out be affordable and not ridiculously expensive and the games coming out regularly. Your multiplayer armor unlocks would probably carry over from game to game, tied to your account. Also find and contract good composers.Vergil wrote: β September 15th, 2025, 22:01That's cool but if you had to save Halo as per the question asked how would you?Val the Moofia Boss wrote: β September 15th, 2025, 19:10I wouldn't. Yeah but 4 player co-opVergil wrote: β October 25th, 2025, 08:12This Halo remake is pure slop that completely misses the point of the original's tone, aesthetic, and gameplay but at this point after 15 years of 343's output feeling anything but apathy about this is like being in your 15th year of being a rape slave and getting upset that it's time for your late afternoon rape sesh.
It is what it is at this point, why would you expect any different?
So does gangrape.
You're not missing anything. They're not as good as everyone makes them out to be
