Thousand Year Old Vampire Game

Post by SiMtRy »

Been Interested in maybe Posting a Solo Playthrough of "Thousand Year Old Vampire".

The game is essentially a solo journaling game where you chronicle the life of a vampire, navigating their unlife, and navigating the advancement of time. It's not really a CYOA book, but more of a creative writing exercise, with dice rolling. So far I've played a couple of games and its been great!

Was thinking people in the forums can help me out with the vampire creation, Each vampire needs a backstory Afterall, this includes who they were, 3 characters they knew previously, their resources (possessions, wealth, gear, etc), 3 skills your vampire convertee had pre conversion (e.g Sword fighting, Slight of hand, Silent Walk, basically skills your character has), 3 Mortal Characters (Someone important to them in their pre-undeath life, be it friend or foe), and 1 immortal character (this will be your sire).

Anyway if there is interest i could perhaps explain it more in the hopes of running it in the Play by Post Sub-Forum.

libtards made death of the author because all the stuff they wanted to use was made by people they hate

you can use death of the author to steal death of the author :)

You can't be media illiterate if the intent of the author doesn't matter.

Death of the Author is actually dead. Today's authors rise from their graves to try and make sure their work isn't misunderstood, and in the case of games, they try to lock them down from modification.

Take an Indian. Replace the rapey horniness for sex with blood. Make him slightly stereotypically French/European. You're like 75% of the way there.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

Is this piece of **** subhuman shaming me for not believing his jew lies anymore and trying to appeal to the readers emotion while doing so? *************, you absolute insufferable ******. I hope you lose everything and become homeless in the gutter. You have no idea how much suffering people have endured the past 10 years because of out of touch, femboy champaign communists like yourself. This little ****** has never worked hard a day in the real world. Don't even get me started on that fake pandemic stunt designed to rob people of their jobs for not taking poison. Never forgive, never forget.

Didn't know the author was a ******. i got the game in a pdf Trove when /tg/ was still alive lol.

There's nothing wrong with the system itself though. i've read through it a few times the only thing thats kinda gay is this warning he gives where it goes " oOooOooOoOOoo our game is not for the faint of heart! its le scary and will make you contemplate death !" or some **** like that.

The prompts in the game in no way steer you to be a libtard vampire who hates white people or what ever.

anyway since people in this thread seems to be dismissive of the idea on the count of the author being a gay libtard ****** and not ultra based ****** hater, how about i just share you guys a trove of pdfs i've collected over the years. Its got VtMB stuff, Harn, Some solo Rpgs, Oldschool Essentials and a few more things. Table Top PDFS

From my previous forum rp experiences I can say most people like building characters and never play them so it's not so absurd to ask

That's only true if chargen is a game in itself, like Ars Magica.
