It's stupid because it's a quality that rests entirely on the opinions of a bunch of other people, usually the most ******** and vocal fanboys. "This is a great game, but some people said it's the best game ever made, which it isn't, therefore it's overrated." It's up there with metacritic scores and sales figures as pointless ******** to discuss. I'm not 16 anymore so I don't really give a **** what other people think or say about a game (in this way of judging a game based on what others think about it, I do still enjoy discussing and arguing about games), I'd rather talk about the game on its own merits.

Somebody can hold the opinion that VTMB is a good game and still think it's overrated. They can even have the opinion that VTMB is a better game than FNV, and still think VTMB is more overrated than FNV. Except in this case it's objective. Bloodlines is either a weak 9 or a strong 8, meanwhile FNV is a 7 at most, and since fans of both will rate them as 10 FNV is definitely more overrated. End of thread

I enjoyed VTMB far more. Tighter experience, stronger atmosphere, more memorable characters.

FNV is a good game but it's never held my attention strongly, I always seem to drop it somewhere just after Novac/REPCONN I also think its a sin when you have an open world but absolutely dogshit exploration.
