Downloaded a bunch of the recommendations. Thanks guys.

Bought Independence War 2 and Hardwar as those looked very interesting. Thanks @Bertram_Tung and @Val the Moofia Boss for posting about it.
For Iwar2 there are a couple mods (most are actually made by one of the devs after release) that I'd recommend strongly.

https://i-war2.com/downloads/category/3 ... le-systems

Specifically:
-the Custom Jafs mod (This makes your salvage pilot have a lot more cargo space. This is very useful as you don't have to wait around for him to leave, so you can tag more containers and waste less time.)
-Location Finder (Multimod version) ( adds a Location Finder screen to the single player game that shows a list of all stations and lagrange points in a solar system in alphabetical order, making it easy to find a particular location. When you've found a location in the list, you can then set a waypoint for the location and use the autopilot to take you there.)
-Multimod (this allows multiple mods to run at once)

There's a few other ones like a starmap reference and some texture upscales, I recommend browsing that website. But the ones I listed are made by the devs and recommended as "essential". they are more like patches than mods.

I only buy games when they’re like $3 or less. Most I just download.

I mostly agree, but the devs in OP haven't let me down yet.
I am waiting for their inevitable betrayal.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

I picked up:

Based on a Rusty recommendation, and it was cheap.

Had the itch to mindlessly shoot things that weren't hidden in hyper-realistic bushes and impossible to see. Apparently, has good mod support.

Thinking about picking up:

Lhynn made this sound interesting in their comment in the ***** RPG thread.

A lot of stuff on my wishlist is discounted, but none so much that makes it tempting -- save for maybe Old World. Lords and Villeins has an interesting premise, though.

I'm having fun with The Precinct, Asian females make up 60% of bad drivers so far. When radioing for a backup cruiser during a vehicle chase, they tend to send the suspect vehicle rag dolling which is always fun to witness.

I need help deciding which to pass on or wait for another sale. I'm buying a bunch of stuff for <$10, however, these are also on sale but still more than $20. Are any not worth that much?

Tempest rising is fun it feels like command and conquer.

Should I paypig for Drova: Forsaken Kin?

So far I've completed my Warhammer 1 and 2 DLC collections, bought King Arthur on rusty's recommendation (it's gud) and a bunch of stuff on GOG.

Also bought this one, it's great dumb fun, only disappointing thing is that cutscenes and turret sections keep breaking up the action, I wish it played more like Desert Strike and its ilk:

Drova is jam packed with ********* in a Celtic forest setting but there's a mod that fixes it.

Any good deals(read: deep discount) on denuvo or always-online games to pickup before this ends in a couple hours?
