Is The Absolute a he, she, or it? I imagine if something were to invade your thoughts, it'd be in the form as something demonic & terrifying.

As a evolved elder brain, It should be a composite mind from many, many, many Illithids, who are sexless, but pretty exclusively act male.
There would be zero discernable femininity in it, unless it was trying to trick or manipulate someone.

I'm thinking it being more of a matter of perspective per individual. Rather than digging up everyone's dialogue that refers to The Absolute as "she/her" we only do it for a few.

Unless it set out to always portray itself in a feminine guise to an individual, nobody would get any female vibes from it and therefore "she" is pretty much off the table.

Calling all Britbongs, if you can help us identify the specific regional accent: e.g. cockney, queens English, Irish Scottish etc for the girlbosses in OP, that would be very helpful.

Voice conversations work best when the voice model has a similar accent. So if you have a recommended Youtuber/ someone with good quality audio recordings that has a similar accent to one of these girls that would be great too. Obviously we're looking for male voices. If you wanted to donate your own voice that's also possible (accent must be British, otherwise conversion is not great)

Having spent time in England, these are my guesses:

Mol - West Country / Somerset

Zarys the Zhent - I would probably guess North-Western England, maybe Manchester or Cheshire generally

Nine Fingers - Same again, more likely Manchester

Female Fists in Wakeen rest - Doesn't sound native, but again, Manchester or the North West

Councillor Florrick - Sounds like a sheboon, could be anywhere, I expect a London based sheboon however

Lakrissa - Something Southern, not sure where, the South Coast generally, key giveaway is the 'wiv' instead of 'with'

Hoots Hooligan - Again probably North-Western, hard to say

Anyone British is free to correct me, but I think these are most likely. I think they just got a lot of people from the North for voices, because it sounded more 'fantasy'.

Not sure. It’s definitely a black woman speaking though. I'd have guessed London but it doesn't really sound like it. Perhaps it's East Anglia, Norfolk or Oxford area.

I should add, I don't mean the University when I say Oxford, I mean the people who are from there (and not Chinese). They sound like stereotype peasant farmers.

additionally, the Absolutist Linsella. i haven't reached Act 2 (now that RR's installed), but i'd suggest making her a human fem ****** just to see her getting mauled by gnolls (leave only options to get her mauled? if it's technically possible?). maybe place a roasted chicken and a watermelon near her for better immersion.

Oh my god. You guys are reading my mind. I was going to ask for exactly this type of mod today. Because in my playthrough, even with Realm Restored + No Alphabet People, the overabundance of girlboss characters is so painful and feels like garbage woke-washed "writing".

These ******* often behave so aggressively and vulgarly (like Jaheira, who literally attacks us to prove how "badass" she is, and the game leaving only two choices: grovel like a soyboy loser or kill her - making violence seem like the only rational response).

Even if it's hard to do (And i think that's intentionally)



Sometimes the game literally have overdoses on girlbosses. One girlboss captures you,



another girlboss rescues you a second later,



just for you going to a third girlboss who's planning to attack "helpless refugees".



There's no doubt they intentionally designed them this way: brazen, aggressive, utterly unfeminine, and somehow always in positions of power. It's like matriarchal fantasy where women aren't the exception, but rather the default ruling class. This needs fixing.
Women should be jewels in a man’s world. Not ugly caricatures of "coolness" designed by people who understand neither real strength nor what women actually are.

Main characters would be difficult to change, because we'd have to change every NPC that would use their (dead name lol) previous pronouns. However, Shaman Gut might have a better ring to it than Priestess Gut.

I think the warlock girl could stay as a girl? considering female warlock controlled by a devil are far more believable than female warrior in leadership positions.

True. I'm not even sure if warlocks can qualify as girlbosses. They have to report to and obey a master (meaning the devil that holds their contract), which is something girlbosses generally loathe to do. They can surely be otherwise obnoxious characters, but girlbossing requires that you constantly throw your weight around and get away with it. A warlock trying to girlboss her devil would find herself wishing for death not a minute later.

Nine Fingers... I don't like her as a character, and the lesbian bodyguards smell like fetish fuel. I do like the thought of Minsc annoying the **** out of her though, that was funny at least. At least she's portrayed as an actual ruthless criminal, so at least the usual moral grandstanding is absent.

Not only that, EL recognizes voices of presidents, and won't let you train them. You also can't drop too many "N" bombs ending with a hard "R".

The Gith are fine tbh. Both men and women in Gith society are raised to be ruthless and fearless killing machines. So it makes sense they would have an attitude that would match that.
