Case of the Golden Idol

The final DLC just got released. Didn't play it yet, but the base game and DLC1 were amazing. Its currently sitting at 98% Steam rating. Bit surprised there wasn't a thread about it here. If you like Adventure games, you really should try it.

The sequel has a demo now! If you have played the first one, I don't think there is much reason to play the demo. The full game will be out anyway later this year. The sequel is set in the 70s, 300 years after the first game. That's a nice touch, but the core concept seems to be identical.

Just finished chapter 1, first 3 cases. Obviously all very familiar, with a few improvements to the UI. Additionally to solving the single cases you need to complete a chapter case file, nice recap to make sure you haven't missed anything important. Don't remember that being a thing in the first game.

Second DLC releasing May 13. Have to admit, never finished the first one. Still appreciate their no-nonsense approach to their formular.
