Any of them. Malory is of course considered the most "canonical", but the essential themes are present all the way back to Geoffrey of Monmouth.
Oh ok was expecting some 20th century neo-pagan bs. If you read Malory surely you don't take offence to the Christianity aspect of my post. Am left curious about what ticked you off really.
Finished Act 1. It was OK, but not great. Exploration nice, but it felt a bit simplistic and probably after 1/3rd of the map you got combat figured out and it becomes a cake walk. Char system also feels rather week. I tried to go Spellsword, but abandoned it early on to go full caster. Branching out only seems to punish you so far at least.
Why are you so obsessed with brown man? Every post that I see from you is about mexicans or browns. Is repressed sexuality?

About the game, I've found the alchemists guild and got dual thunder lash. The game is amazing. I recommend exploring much more than I did in my first run.

I'm not ticked off. The point I was making was that the original was always a tragedy where Camelot falls (because England was in fact ruled by the descendants of the Saxons when the legends were compiled), many of the knights are prideful and do bad things, and classical heroism and chivalry ultimately fails. It is a very Christian myth, and, as a Christian myth, it is principally preoccupied with the Fall.

Ok well we agree 100% not sure what in my post conveyed that. Cheers ~
Pirated it and stopped playing after getting to the first town. Not being able to block anything with a spell in your offhand is really goofy. Perks are extremely boring percentage increases for the most part. Dialogue is just not very good. Beksinski painted some really nice stuff, but I don't think his style really works in this game in the few environments it's used in. Overall, pretty average eurojank game with slightly more polished combat.
What is it with Polish devs and Beksinski? Every frigging Polish game uses Beksinski's art as some kind of killer feature. It's like a law - "if you're Polish, you should base your game on Beksinski's paintings, and mention him in the promotional materials all the time".

nobody knows who that is
yet the Poles keep shilling him like he's a big deal.
I have been playing the game and I find it enjoyable, haven't found anything woke yet but these days you don't really know anymore I swear I have PTSD on woke trash...
Not the "new Morrowind" as Cohh Carnage (******) was trying to say but it's actually pretty fun, more than Kingdom Slop DEIliverance 2 for sure that was a stupid talking simulator.
I will review it, so far I am gravitating towards a 7 but I am on act one so the score can change at any time.
Asmongoldstein on the other hand made himself look like a clown the other day playing this game, showing to thousdands of people why RPG's started doing difficulty scalling:
He is so unbelievably ********.
Perfect example of the "entertainment" vs "game" issue.
They don't want a game, they simply want to be entertained.
I have zero tolerance for this ****, and when I say zero I mean zero.
Yep, I was thinking that even with the complaints about various things in this thread (game play) the game at least would be "something" worth messing around with, but after this... **** them, I wouldn't **** on this game if I was paid to. It Isn't even worth the pirate now, and I was seriously considering if it held true, I might support it, but now... they can go to hell.
That is actually not Perceval but one of his descendants. That much should have been easily discerned by Yvain being far removed in lineage as well.
Not gonna read all of this thread:
I actually just finished it
I liked the games system apart from a wonky balance, liked it's world's design and also it's story beats.
That said, reactivity falls off massively towards act 2 already and act 3 is basically broken and so poor on content that you can skip it alltogether.
I played a mage and reached magic level 100 towards mid act 2 so the only progression I still had was basically normal levels and gear.
The priestesses of which Perceval is part of have very, let's say, revealing outfits that are also pretty good mage gear (perceval itse#f is a dual wield armor) now the fun part is, where armor does not change by sex so while I just ignored this armor as it was more of a sidegrade the best mage armor by far I found was dress on the other part of that quest with garter straps, visible thighs and a very ball like dress, so that is what I had to wear for the rest of the game.
That should tell you how woke it is, there is also a whole gay blacksmith group and a related quest to have a heart smithed which makes a man fall in love with you regardless of your sex. The female romance option is a gold digger and overall stupid and entitled ***** just so that is also par for the course.
It's better than skyrim, it's woke.
EDIT: There may be sailing involved in me playing the game, just saying.

Resident Anti-feminist MRA, Race-mixer and no I'm not woke and not gay. Married with children, My writing style is shit, live with it or ignore me.
Started again and am using lightning lash. Not having only "fire" based spells is so great. Any mage player here want to share the location of more cool spells please?
If I remember correctly you can find upgrades for fire based spells in the corrupted temple. I have not found any better spells for elements apart from fire based spells and the life-leech.
There was some homing spell I found that was decent and I used the "keeper" summon for the last fights for tanks (found in act 1) I do not know if you get any better spells in act 3, it's unnecessary anyways as the explosion fireball with a mage crit rate of 90+% and nearly 400 damage was definitely sufficient to end the game.
I already deinstalled it as well so i can't look what the spells are actually called, I think the first fire upgrade can also be purchased by "maggot" in act two (near the fields of cuanacht)

Yes and that is how they are trying to push this, they are technically not replacing Perceval with a woman but they are making the Knights a "position" that anyone can take...
So no she is not replacing Perceval but you still have a woman as a knight of the round table that names herself Perceval.
You still get to the same result:
Woman knight of the round table named Perceval
******* gaslighting.
