2FA disabled
I don't know why I still had it enabled, but it has been disabled.
2FA is a placebo unless you're using something like a yubikey.
You should be using a strong, generated password kept in a password store for all your logins. I use https://keepassxc.org/ along with its browser plugin. Because the database for it is encrypted you can back it up anywhere to keep it safe.

I remember 2FA being the straw that made me leave Codex forever in like mid 2023...

I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

I use my brain for that, for now. But good to know.
I may use https://keepassxc.org should I live to an age when I get senile.

Great point! 2FA definitely adds an extra layer of security, but relying on a hardware key like a Yubikey or using a strong password manager like KeePassXC is essential for real security. Password managers not only help you generate strong passwords but also store them securely, making it way easier to stay safe online.

Yeah, they're great and all. But I've observed that AI uses it A LOT. So when you see turd worlders who use lots of emdashes it's an obvious tell.Tangerine wrote: ↑ May 27th, 2025, 11:46I like emdashes...Bertram_Tung wrote: ↑ May 27th, 2025, 11:21at least he was smart enough to remove the emdashes, most can't even figure that part out![]()

I've never seen any of you use them. And taking a glance at your recent posts proves you don't really use them much, if at all. So there.

That's amazing, that's the same code I use on my luggage

It is. It increases, rather than decreases, the attack surface on your account.loregamer wrote: ↑ March 23rd, 2026, 17:25Is 2FA really a meme? Was about to enable it on my account but just found this

I think for high value accounts like Steam or Amazon it's worth turning on. But other than that it's a waste of time and energy.loregamer wrote: ↑ March 23rd, 2026, 17:25Is 2FA really a meme? Was about to enable it on my account but just found this
Isn't a password store just a way to lose all of your passwords at once?
