Of course I know it's not a serious lore video but this video doesn't even work as a proper advertisement for the game itself. I would have assumed this was a video of a random ASMR streamer thot if it wasn't for the game information that popped up in the end. Nothing about this ad says "BUY THIS VIDEO GAME!" in the slightest.

Even those old video game TV commercials that had super cheesy acting at least had the decency to show clips of exciting in-game footage at the middle/end to give you an idea of what the game was about and what they were trying to sell you.

You bring up a fair point. Clickbait is all the trend nowadays. I just wish they could have at least have her do something game-related even if it's just some silly skit.

Random thought: I think if it wasn't for alot of big Japanese franchises carrying a borderline admiration or appreciation for European history and culture, or at least inadvertently catering to European tastes, I wouldn't have gave as much of a **** about games as I did. Most of my favorite franchises as a kid were Japanese, with only a handful of decent Western ones. Even as far back as the 90's I remember some examples of games where DEI was pushed because of jewish involvement, Japanese games were almost like a refuge from Hollyjew and the nightmare of life in a multiculti anti-White hellhole. I don't think there are many other pieces of media that displayed European history or people in more of a neutral or positive light, and even if it was negative it was significantly less so than most games produced by the western jew world order at the time. Another point being that alot of those Japanese games had a certain care for attention to detail, polish and QA that most western studios never gave a **** about. It's sad to see that today most of those same franchises and Japan itself falling into the woke disease

I think that passion still exists. Ascendance of a Bookworm, Saga of Tanya the Evil, Violet Evergarden, Frieren, My Next Life as a Villainess, etc exist as recent depictions of Euro themed worlds. But the money has dried up. You don't really see lavish productions like 20th century anime movies and OVAs now. So there hasn't been as many Japanese products in recent years that are worth your time when you have vast libraries of entertainment at your fingertips. Almost all of the visual novel studios died or jumped ship to making mobile games, with only Idea Factory still going and occasionally making a Euro themed game. I guess it is pretty noticeable in the JRPG space. The last passionate depiction of a euro themed world we got in JRPGs was Erebonia in Trails of Cold Steel, which was inspired by Prussia and France. But then you get to Calvard in the currently running Trails Through Daybreak series, but it's clear that there wasn't much passion there. Atelier was also doing Euro themed worlds, at least up until this year's Yumia.
