"Haha Faustian Spirit go brrrrrrrr"
I have found the term "Faustian" confusing for years, because Faust's deal with demons gives it a double meaning.

But I can't deny that I do feel this way:

Tell me many tales, O benign maleficent daemon, but tell me none that I have ever heard or have even dreamt of otherwise than obscurely or infrequently. Nay, tell me not of anything that lies between the bourns of time or the limits of space: for I am a little weary of all recorded years and charted lands; and the isles that are westward of Cathay, and the sunset realms of Ind, are not remote enough to be made the abiding-place of my conceptions; and Atlantis is over-new for my thoughts to sojourn there, and Mu itself has gazed upon the sun in aeons that are too recent,

Tell me many tales, but let them be of things that are past the lore of legend and of which there are no myths in our world or any world adjoining. Tell me, if you will, of the years when the moon was young, with siren-rippled seas and mountains that were zoned with flowers from base to summit; tell me of the planets gray with eld, of the worlds whereon no mortal astronomer has ever looked, and whose mystic heavens and horizons have given pause to visionaries. Tell me of the vaster blossoms within whose cradling chalices a woman could sleep; of the seas of fire that beat on strands of ever-during ice; of perfumes that can give eternal slumber in a breath; of eyeless titans that dwell in Uranus, and beings that wander in the green light of the twin suns of azure and orange. Tell me tales of inconceivable fear and unimaginable love, in orbs whereto our sun is a nameless star, or unto which its rays have never reached.
OMG Faust is like part of the Starfield CINEMATIC UNIVERSE!. THIS IS SO WHOLESOMMMMEEEE!!

Well, it doesn't have to do with deals with the devil but with exploration. Faust cheated the devil, even though he was unhappy his whole life. The devil couldn't satisfy him. Literally nothing in hell or on earth could make him happy, this is very German.

Does anyone watch this video start to finish and think "Wow.. I wanna buy that game now"

Only a diversity hire would ever waste money on this.

I was shocked to see a straight white male in that bunch. How on Earth did Todd manage to snuck that one in, I don't know... but... there it is... white guy, white girl, black dude, asian girl. Huh...

Apparently the story for the religious group was written by someone who is studying to become a Catholic priest.

Shockingly Based. However, the state of the Catholic West itself is anything but. Still room for some subversive messaging, and I'd be surprised if it turns out to be 100% clean.

There's no DRM, it will be available day 1 of the "early access".
Terrible business decision to limit it to the special editions.

It's a joke rop is making because I didn't notice that rusty already posted the thing I just posted. Just snowflake behavior from people butthurt that they're ignored and they get emotional about it.

Xer has also started vandalizing /r/Piracy Rentry links on plebbit because like any good *****, they are starting a drama **** war with *another* community.
I don't really care personally, I love a good drama **** storm.. but it's just so typical..

How many times has this drama ***** started some internet civil war over literally nothing.. don't inject yourself with bathtub troonshine - it's no good. .

1. planets gravity doesn't vary
2. planets are ten minutes across
3. can't loot spacesuits/armor
3.5 Witcher 3 loot
4. guns are ***
5. ******* everywhere
6. alien technology
7. spaceships look like shipping containers
>muh NASA punk!
no such thing
8. bethesda writing
9. bethesda animations
10. Even MORE streamlined dialogue and rpg system.
11. super powers

They took how many years to make this dogshit? Every planet should be the size of goddam Daggerfall, with proc-gen and handcrafted cities too. Space combat should be so good, they'd made dozens of videos by now, showing off dogfights and boarding raids, but we've only had a glimpse. In a ******* SPACE game. Instead, we know they had to rebuild this game a couple years ago, because it was so godawful. If this is a rpg then so is goddam Elden Ring, or does grouping Elden Ring in rpgs make bethestards nervous?
