There are some issues with incorrect equipment of characters whose height has been changed. The models have changed, but the clothes remain the same size (Mask of Regret for example).

If anyone spots any such issues in the future, please give the name and screenie of the NPC tyvm. It's a simple fix so I'll do a broad sweep for every single swapped NPCs for next patch, but if any escape my script, your report will be much appreciated!

I absolutely love this mod! Thank you for making this :) I had a question though:

As someone who has never worked with mods, I have posponed playing the game until the last upcoming update would be released, as I wanted to play with mods to remove the wokeness. So my question is; which mods should I use to remove all the woke nonsense? I remember a mod that changed the gender of the aasimar girl to a man, and also removed a lot of "*****" nonsense. I believe those were the mods: "Baldur's Better Aesthetics" and "No alphabets"? Could you tell me if those are compatible with this mod? Or if I should use "No alphabets" together with this mod? Or use another mod alongside your great mod?

Sorry for asking you to answer my questions on your likely busy schedule, but I would love to have my first experience playing this game be the best one I can have, and your mod has made me all the more excited to playing it!

Oh, and before I forget, a friend recommended this mod that added more elven subraces: https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/10230 (though I believe that Sun Elves are officially a type of high elves? Or am I wrong in that regard?). While I like the idea of having more options, the default elves there sometimes look way to african. Especially the Sun elves, which have a copper tan but are still meant to be caucasian, is the biggest offender there. I mean, just look at their official art up until 2020:

Official Sun Elf art from D&D 4th edition: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/6b/10/ee ... 03ede4.png

Official Sun Elf art from D&D Forgotten Realms concept art: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/f8/5d/b7/f85d ... 7e39fb.jpg

If you have some time to spare, is there any chance you might consider making a submod for that mod that changes the default appearance of some of the elves? Only if you have the time of course, and if this is something you would like to do. I imagine you must be busy enough as it is, but I still wanted to ask just in case.

Hi there! the FAQ section Should have answer to all your queries regarding de-wokifying.

Regarding dewoking the sun elves, I myself can't promise anything as the next mod I'll dig my hands into will be the degirlboss mod, if RL allows and after all the bugs here have been ironed out. Can't speak for the others though.

Wonderful! Thank you for your quick answer, and in which case I will install this mod together with No Alphabets :) Hopefull that will remove all the woke nonsense entirely. And I fully understand, I really appreciate you taking your time to answer me :) Hopefully someone else will take that up, and if not then no problem at all of course.

Oh, one last question: who made that great artwork at the top for this mod? The one with the elf girl showing how they are removing the wokeness I mean. I love it :)

How did it ruin them? You realize this book was written by the original creator of the Baldur's Gate games, you stupid ******? Your playthrough isn't canon. Just because you played the game 20 years ago doesn't mean you know better than the original creator and get to decide what is and isn't canon. Most of what happens in the games is not canon to the official FR timeline, and this book isn't even part of the official WOTC 5e sourcebook line. It was published under the DMs Guild fan content brand and is basically non-canon.

There's no consistency to how they're depicted in the games and other material.
Hey dumbass, have you actually read it? Your cool book turned Kivan and Cernd into *******, but something tells me that's what you prefer anyway.

What a ******* slap on the face. His entire quest was about avenging his dead wife because he loved her with all his heart and finding the resolve to coming to terms with her death after avenging her and the will to keep going. And now suddenly it turns out the real love of his life was another man. Disgusting.
Hey if Hyborian likes it, it must be good! I'm gonna need Rusty to force a change regarding his "title" it should be *** watcher now.

some of the vanilla heads I liked - any idea when they'll be added back to CC?

also just curious but the mod suggests to play as durge and human or half-elf for best narrative coherency, was the story really made around durge and tav is really just durge content excluded? does tav have nothing unique about playing as a custom character?
The game was indeed designed for Durge. Only thing unique about custom character is 2 more lesbians couple that should have been dead.
I always got the sense Alfira was originally meant to be a companion to help "complete the set." The only classes that don't appear in the game as companions are Bard, Monk, and Sorcerer (and Durge is by default a Sorcerer despite being a knife-wielding serial killer... for some reason). Then plans changed and she became Durge-bait.

Oh! And "Monk" was added late in development, and so wasn't initially part of "the set." Which makes this theory make even more sense.

Has there been any progress in the modding community on making custom cinematics with dialogue? Or would that require a motion-capture rig?
I thought the same too. I also always thought Nere would be "male Minthara" because of his similarities with Baeloth (who was a Drow sorcerer). Still waiting, and hoping  , for him to become a companion (there was every setup for him to end up with the same Minthara situation, but they even cut his dialogue instead of expanding on it in the full version from last I saw  There was also no option to expand upon the artifact as there was with Minthara even though the setup was better as he is left with wanting vengeance. In the past he would mention the order of Soul Spiders and going to go there to inform them of the Absolute. Would have been a great adventure into the Underdark to aid Nere in this, instead it was cut and the dialogue, again last I saw, just ends abruptly now without also the dialogue where he gives the player a "small token"). Zevlor I also thought might be a companion due to Paladin also being missing far as I recall in the companion classes, was looking forward to him too
- Here to show my support for normal gaming.

Thank you for existing! :bounce:

I'm not sure if I installed something wrong, but weren't women (except female dwarves) supposed to not have a facial hair option available in the character creator?

Probably meant to join you instead of Halsin who got included because of femgooners
Gaygooners. There were hardly any female bg3 players during early access period. One of the writers, who happens to be a fat gay bear, likes Halsin a lot too.

What a disgrace. They could've gone away with the nostalgia-bait Jaheira, Minsc and Viconia and instead given us Alfira as the Bard companion, Kagha as the Druid companion and a monk from Kara-Tur and an aragorn like ranger maybe. Also the companions we have in the final version are all very... human adjacent. No dwarves, halflings, gnomes, half-orc, goblin or dragonborn not even an aasimar. We had 16 recruitable companions back then and now we have 10.
Astarion > Rogue
Gale > Wizard
Lae'zel > Fighter
Shadowheart > Cleric
Wyll > Warlock
Karlach > Barbarian
Halsin > Druid (Why?)
Minthara > Paladin
Jaheira > Druid (Why?)
Minsc > Ranger (Why)
Human supremacy > gay mutlracial special snowflake freakshow. See the image below.

Like I said, the book is not canon, so there's no point in getting your panties in a bunch over it. I personally consider it an authoritative source because it has three Baldur's Gate writers behind it, but the book doesn't present itself as such, and you can ignore it if you don't like it.

Yeah, and she said Bear Halsin is symbolism for bear gay men or something like that.

the main romance writer was hired because she was writing ""fanfic"", including halsin material
Yeah, and she said Bear Halsin is symbolism for bear gay men or something like that.
Gross women write stories about gay men, hope that helps.
women isn't even the problem. I love Christie Golden's Books on WoW. It's that they specifically hired a low quality gay porn-fic writer.

It's a huge phenomenon nowadays.

https://fanlore.org/wiki/Fujoshi
Fujoshi [腐ε₯³ε, lit. "spoiled girl"] is a term that originated in Japan for female fans who enjoy published media or fanworks focusing on romantic relationships between male characters.[1] Fujoshi enjoy imagining what it would be like if male characters from any media, as well as real-life celebrities, loved one another in a gay relationship or something similar to it. The label encompasses fans of Boys' Love, Yaoi and Shonen-ai. Many fujoshi create doujinshi and may sell them at conventions such as Comiket.

I personally consider it an authoritative source because it has three Baldur's Gate writers behind it
As I said, you really like turning characters into ****.

Dam, Christie Golden's novels remind me of a better time.... Didn't expect to see this brought up by anyone anywhere really. Those were genuinely good books, from a sadly passed era of WoW.

More on topic: is Immersive Heads compatible/superseded by this mod?

Immersive heads is currently out of date and not compatible for patch 7 and 8.. Regardless, it's superseded by this mod (i'll add that to FAQs :salute: )

Could you perhaps add a loadorder for all the mods here in the FAQ? Like where to put Wylls of Toril, Dignify, Even Better Romance, No Alphabets and Realms Restored respectively?

Also @orinEsque @mercerxiv I miss Golden and the "old" WoW days
