First I'm hearing of this. Are there new companions? I didn't think there was any actually new content besides the stupid pre order armors. Can anyone confirm?
I seen it here, there's 2 and one is using the 'them' ********.

Umm guys, I'm starting to think that complaining about replacing male and female gender option with body type A/B is getting kind of stale. We're really arguing over a nothing burger here. None of the anti-woke crowd claimed that Elden Ring was some neo-Marxist manifesto just because it used body type A/B — it’s not on the same level as Baldur’s Gate 3, where it honestly feels like you're in Seattle with how Faerûn’s population acts completely indifferent to racial differences. Is it unnecessary and kind of pointless? Sure. But will I refuse to enjoy a game just because of that? No.
"Hey I know you guys are just starting to get developers to patch their games to remove it, maybe you should stop complaining now haha… please??"

Did you like the game? (before all this atleast).

I tried when it first come out but I hated it, same with Fallout 76. I think it's just the mmo formula, same old thing and massively lacks depth compared to single player games.

Fallout 3 and New Vegas especially, Fallout 4 had a bit less but still have played it alot and been playing the Storywealth mod collection.

They added origins for the races. For example: stronghold or Orsinium Orcs, Western or Eastern Nords.
Now I'm hearing that these are just a replacement for the sex-based stat differences

This remaster thing reminded me of one of my biggest issues with modern gaming: the obsession with photorealism at the cost of everything else. The NPC interactions, lip-syncing, and sprinting animations all feel uncanny and awkward, making the experience feel disjointed and unnatural.

Games like GTA IV, Skyrim, and others from that era, while also pushing for realistic visuals, still kept a unique game-like charm. Their exaggerated ragdoll physics, clunky yet strangely endearing animations, and over-the-top mechanics contributed to a cohesive, immersive atmosphere that felt harmoniously integrated with their engines, lighting, and graphical limitations.
When you have a massively bloated art/graphics team*, it's almost impossible to get them to coordinate on any kind of stylized aesthetic. Everyone at least knows what photorealism is supposed to look like.

*especially one composed of ***** and/or holes

Fog was used as a technical limitation in older games, I have no idea why newer games insist upon using it, especially to such a degree.
Have these people ever actually gone out to an area with rolling hills? There isn't a persistent layer of gas on everything.
If you have a limited budget, fog can be used to hide how small the game world is. This is useful (if not ideal) even in newer games.

For an example of an older game where this is relevant: Maxing out the draw distance in OpenMW makes the world feel tiny, which kills immersion.
some guy wrote:
Do not raise the render distance the first playthrough. The world was created to a specific scale based on the vision distance, and growing that too much not only makes the world feel smaller, but you will likely behave differently. For example, you're in Vivec and want to go to Ebonheart. Normally you would take the trail from the North side of the capital, working your Athletics, picking alchemical ingredients, poking around caves, and maybe finding side quests. With your render distance expanded, you're likely to just look west, jump the rail, and swim straight there, missing out on the world and things.

I like it in theory but the fact a new character customization feature is actually just a way to replace something they removed for genderfaggot reasons suuuuugs

If they did such a faggotry I will wait for some way to edit things to even pirate it then. I disdain how pervasive they are, next I am waiting to hear how many characters were made suspiciously darker

I don't mind them keeping the ******** conversations or some AI behaviour, but they couldn't at least fix the AI pathing that even OpenMW managed to fix for Morrowind? This **** is a joke.

Runs like ****. Framegen adds input lag as you'd expect.
