You are an abject ****** if you believe that the **** were in England before England had been converted to Christianity.
By ca. 400 AD there probably weren't (m)any **** in England, no. Then again, there was no England at that time (Winchester, Northumbria...). They gradually moved north-west during the dark and medieval ages. They followed trade, crafts and generally sought livelyhood just as the vikings did from the north.
Are you so ******* ******** that you can't understand what I'm saying? Why are you going on about 400 AD?
Because you have no concept of history and the sequence of things. Re-read your own sentence and try again to understand why I was talking about ca. AD 400.
Hint: the Roman empire officially became christian during the 300s. Ever heard of Constantine and Theodosius, for example? Then consider the fall of the western part after 476 and the chaos that followed.

But really, I don't know why I bother to try and teach you anything. Clearly you are both unwilling and unable to find information about basic real history anyway.

Yes, and no. Yes: I might as well try to teach a dachshund pole-vaulting. No: I have other things to do, anyway. Basic stuff like preparing a pizza for saturday night, for example.

You brought up Bar Kokhba & 400AD so you could try to distract from the point. It just seems like you're trying to absolve them.
I don't think you even understood the point about why they're not like DA Elves.
I already know the ancient history, and I don't see how it's relevant. I'm not even sure how it would apply to modern Ashkenazi. There's not a lot of continuity there.

I said Christian lands because North-Western Europe was Christian when they arrived here & repeatedly tried to gain access to countries that had previously kicked them out. Christianity is the main reason **** were permitted to exist in Europe, the Norse, Germanic & Celtic pagans probably would have killed them. Even so, they were not invited by Christians into those lands, they just turned up there and expected the world to accommodate them.
How do you think **** ended up in ******* China? Causing the same ******* mayhem over there with their criminal activities & ******-up brothels?

**** have established a norm or expectation for Westerners, whereby every immigrant or nomad is entitled to whatever culture or society they stumble upon, when in actuality that's an invasive act, which dismisses the wishes of the host as if they were not even worth respecting anymore than fauna. Entitled creatures.

I was taken to watch one of the hobbit movies in theater, I just remember the molten gold looking hilariously bad 90s CGI-tier, couldn't believe they actually released it like that

Must have been '13 or '14, looked completely awful.

I almost walked out of the movie when that happened. The entire Erebor dragon chase sequence was such utter garbage. Though one must mention that the movies were production hell, at least the 2. and 3. I think, which is why many things weren't as good as they could have been, the clone elf army being one thing. However that of course does not excuse the many story and ****** action scene decisions that were made.
Only thing that made me more mad than the stupid chase was the strong female elf **** character

I liked the full on bad CGI dwarf king that shows up in the 3rd one. So awful. Or Legolas defying physics and jumping up falling rocks. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: Just awful films.

Oh right, I didn't even get into the rock monsters and the bad disney "singing". UGH. :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

I now just watch clips of Thranduil and call it a day.

Yeah I remember one recut that was really popular and then it just went POOF. Or I could never find it anyway. Supposedly cut out all the crap music and superman Legolas. (I love Legolas but that was over the top by lightyears. ) I'll try finding these.

Thank you, I am honored! Mary B and Tom Holland happen to be 2 of my favorite historians.

Vague assumptions is what we CAN operate with. There are no historical sources that say "there were **** in England around 400 AD" and there are none that explicitly tell us the opposite either. However, judging from the way that the Roman empire operated, we can probably quite safely assume that IF there were **** in England around 400 AD they had probably been brought - or found their own way - there while Rome still was a pagan empire.

You know I think I finally remember why I hated whatever Dragon Age game I started and then rage quit abruptly. I didn't want to play a bunch of Jew street urchins with knife ears. That must have been it!
