They are Disney but games. Just like how parents didn't want to actually parent and dumped their kids in front of the TV as VHS animated Disney movies played (resulting in the wave of remakes to cash on in their nostalgia), so too were many kids dumped in front of a TV to play Zelda and Mario and Pokemon, and thus latched on to that. Same deal with the many kids who grew up playing with Star Wars toys and then became Star Wars consoomers watching Disney SW slop.
