This really steams my beans.
This is the first "gay dialogue" with Hans when you pick the option marked with "romance":
Henry: Hans:
That's it. That's considered "romantic". Caring about your friend when you're both male is "romance".

Btw I've been playing this game off and on and I've ran into like 5 or 6 homosexual characters.. and they are very outward about it.
This is not a one off "hard to find" hans-only subplot.

Oh man, they paid a kang to check their work on Musa.Isaac Samuel is an independent researcher whose work focuses on African history and economics. His prolific output on pre-colonial African history can be found on his blog AfricanHistoryExtra, which as a collective body of extraordinary scholarship puts the lie to the still widely held belief that – in the words of esteemed University of Oxford historian Hugh Trevor-**** in the 1960s – there is no African history, “only the history of Europeans in Africa. The rest is darkness”. Here, in a blistering account, Samuel shows how German philosopher Georg Hegel – one of the most influential figures of 19th century philosophy – wilfully misinterpreted first-hand accounts of the Asante kingdom from the 18th century. The result, both in the work of Hegel and those who followed him, was the construction of an absurdly fictional account of African society, steeped in popular beliefs of his time about the continent’s supposed backwardness, that deliberately subsumed the richness and complexity of Asante history in order to legitimate imperial expansion and colonial rule.

the lack of big battles reminded me that AC odyssey actually had big battles
Not really surprised KCD2 didn't have it tho. Even the tiny battle that was maybe 20v20 at most in KCD1 was very laggy/buggy/crashprone(I gave up both times I tried to finish it because it would eventually bug out or crash and it takes too long to do again after 3-4 tries.) Ubisoft is perhaps the only major developer left to still have their own technology stack and know how to extend it. KCD2 is made with a years old engine, likely don't have a person on the team capable of maintaining it.

half the greeks in that game are black
I mean REAL ***** black, here's a screenshot I took while playing, lost most of my others

Which has a very funny contrast with the environment art that was obviously done by a different team and meant to be historically accurate, so you see statues with pale white blond haired blue eyed people in a town full of REAL NIGGAZ

(look at the characters in the back here…)

I was typing up a long reply about how it was basically set dressing of guys doing animations but people seemed to die. Still kingdom come deliverance has a better depiction of battles because you aren't fighting alone compared to this where you 2v1 guys with special clothing and healthbars. And people don't 1v1 it's actual group battles with archers.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ March 20th, 2025, 17:08Definitely looks goofy, but at least it has 300 characters on screen fighting.traxtan wrote: ↑ March 20th, 2025, 17:01Reminds me of Vikings or Game of Thrones battles where everyone is having a 1v1.![]()

AC Odyssey is typical pozzed Ubisoft slop with niggerfaggots everywhere. The only saving grace was the environment. No wonder Ancient Greece was the cradle of human civilization. Sailing the Aegean Sea and beholding the breathtaking vistas was like a dream. A wonderous paradise on Earth.
The "big battles" were a sham, however. You would only engage like 4-5 opponents max at the same time. The rest were stuck in canned looped animations until you attacked one of them.
Mount and Blade is where the real big battles are at.

That's actually how KCD1 does it, if you try to attack people not put right in front of you during the siege your attacks just go right thru them, just set dressing.traxtan wrote: ↑ March 20th, 2025, 17:14I was typing up a long reply about how it was basically set dressing of guys doing animations but people seemed to die.
Which was fine when it was a smaller budget game, expected much more from the publisher-funded sequel.

I discussed it somewhere earlier in this thread when I played it in January. I tried to run ahead and attack people and you just whiff them without them responding, was kinda disappointing.traxtan wrote: ↑ March 20th, 2025, 17:21I don't remember that happening, played the game 8+ times. You know, I was thinking it'd be great if they modded Musa completely out of the game... but what if instead of doing that, we just turn him into Dave Chappelle's Achoo in Robin Hood: Men in Tights? We won't even try to pass him off as authentic, dude will just be straight up American using modern slang.

I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?
