Why is this games peak player count always at EU times?
China>Czechia>United States in terms of sales for this game.
I thought China hated blacks and gays though.

Don't really see anything suggesting it's selling that much better than the first game which hit 1 million within a couple days of its launch.
https://gamerant.com/kingdom-come-deliv ... 1-million/
KCD1 sold 500k after 2 days, KCD2 1M after 1 day. Took KCD 1 about 10 days to pass the 1M mark

You are really pulling a Schreier here.

It clearly sold more copies. Of course, budget was also higher and this is certainly no slam dunk. There won't be any Champagne parties at Embracer for sure. Still, it sold more copies.

It's an okay-ish casual game, not bad but def not something I'd like to play again. I get bored around ~20 hours mark and just rushed for the ending

Why did they try to hide this stunning POC before release? Now woke people won't touch the game because of it's straight and white supremacist advertising.

I found it kinda boring but I also don't really like sandbox games, so…

Not sure I'd say it's "casual" tho, as most of the game is just running around and talking to NPCs. There's actually very little fighting, no dungeon exploring, etc., Casual in that if you stick to the main story it's a lot like a movie, I guess.

I'd say it's very far from being a casual game, most people get filtered by the somewhat mediocre first 2-8 hours and its combat that actually requires you to engage with the game instead of mashing attack until you win (until late game that is). The side quests add a lot for the game as the sandbox nature of it is better than the linear main quest, I wouldn't recommend skipping them as there's a lot that are really good.

It's casual, you can easily grind your combat skill with Bernard the punching bag for free infinitely as soon as the intro section ended. The game even explicitly hinted you to do so.

The game's combat is broken anyways, if you're underleveled you just get endlessly masterstriked and if you don't understand the underlying systems you probably think you're just playing bad/wrong. It's actually pretty close to morrowind except with actual visual feedback now that I type that out.

Until at least a couple weeks post release, we won’t know how much more KCD 2 sold than its previous entry.

Most likely as people have been saying it will be profitable but not breakout out success of BG3 or The Witcher 3. Anything else’s is just arguing over semantics.

The big question is what was Embracer sales expectations for KC2 . The publisher is currently facing serious financial difficulties I would think they were hoping for big sales numbers.
