If anyone can recommend more games like Zelda 64, especially ones native to PC, I would be interested. Preferably something that is family-friendly. Darksiders is great, but not an ideal choice due to the setting.
Purely hypothetically speaking, many of the later 3D Zelda games can be played on PC via emulators. Which are perfectly legal to have, Nintendo.
My review(s):

Forever Skies [Not Recommended]

Tunic has obvious Zelda inspiration but I haven't played it. Maybe Tweed has.

Yes, but I'm looking for recommendations of games I haven't already played...

Played Beyond Good and Evil when it came out. Was good enough.

Hob started out promising, but I bounced off it when it seemed like it was just an endless stroll through the longest corridor with the same decor and no real gameplay challenge.

Tunic is a bit pretentious for my tastes, but mostly the Dark Souls and Fez inspiration kept me from returning to it.

There's Okami too. I stopped playing because the not-voice acting was driving me batty.

Skyward Sword was good and the motion controls work completely fine if you're not a massive fatass that can't just stand up while playing so you can actually do an actual movement instead of just flicking your skinny wrist and then wondering why the movements aren't being read correctly. The temples were cool as were the bosses, though I do agree with the common criticism that fighting the Armageddon-Bean about 5 times is a bit excessive. Liked it more than Twilight Princess.

Hey why did you decided to grope and sexually harass a woman until you had to be fired?

Here come the ******** contrarians saying Shitward Soyrd was good. It wasn't good in 2011, and it definitely isn't good now, regardless if you liked it or not. And the controls sucking has nothing to do with gaymers being lazy, it was because the controls were halfbaked and annoying. See you don't actually control Link's sword, it's directional combat, not real swordfighting. Enemies just hold up their weapon a certain way and you have to decide where to slash. That's it.

Red Steel 2 meanwhile, a ******* Ubisoft game, has actual swordfighting and far surpasses this game.

In the good old days of localization, Ghirahim's English name would be Edward Sword.

Tunic is more like Link's Awakening than it is Ocarina of Time. The gameplay is decent, but I'm not a fan of the low-poly aesthetic.

All 3D Zeldas are bad.
Does that include things like A link between worlds.

Even the intro while a bit on the long side was easy enough to speed through as a first-time player.
Worst companion in the series
Faulty combat (flicking your wrist/analog stick constantly was atrocious)
Underdeveloped world (especially disappointing since they didn't improve on WW's islands)
Bigger emphasis on Story
Orchestral music felt more like a waste of budget

That said, I think people exaggerate its flaws a lot tbh.

Great character design/impressionist art style
Upgrade System that encouraged exploration
Dungeons are a lot smoother to navigate through
Puzzle items were neat (sucks that they didn't reach their full potential)
There's a lot less interruptions during gameplay (like solving puzzles, etc.)

I know it's entirely because I'm playing the HD re-release that fixed a lot of the issues but I haven't really found Fi all that annoying. Seeing the little icon to ask her for help flash and knowing that meant a forced conversation in hte original version is quite harrowing though lmao

Thank God it's a PC game and not on the Wii what a horrible alternate history.

Adding up on what @wndrbr wrote. You want to check which system these games are for. There are gameplay differences. This channel goes over them. As an example, the GB/GBC games for Harry Potter 1 and 2 are turn-based RPGs.
The PC versions of Harry Potter are freely available here.
Alternatively, there are mods for Zelda 64. Zelda Dawn and Dusk, Indigo, Dark Hyrule Fantasy. Haven't played any of them but heard they are good. If you can get your hands on The Missing Link, it is also recommended.

Back to Zelda. Can't go wrong with Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, The Wind Waker. N3DS/PC Port for OoT, N64 for MM, and version shouldn't matter that much with TP and TWW.
Haven't played Skyward Sword yet even though I own it. Same for Tears of the Kingdom as well most other 3DS titles of the series.
Breath of the Wild wasn't bad but nothing outstanding. **** dungeon design, awful weapon durability, lackluster shrines. The usual puzzle elements in Zelda were too simplified.

The best Zelda game is Hyrule Warriors and possibly Link's Crossbow Training as well.

Played A Link Between Worlds recentlyish and it had the best item system in the series. They're powerful, fueled by a regenerating mana bar, and every one can be upgraded to an enhanced version by spending collectibles hidden around the world. It's probably the only Zelda where I didn't just use the sword 99.99% of the time in combat.

Speaking of items, BOTW/TOTK not having the ******* hookshit is lol lmao.

I prefer The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for it's darker tones and atmosphere, Wind Waker was really good too, haven't played Skyward Sword tho.
