Not

"because of a homosexual scene"

But

"because of the homosexual scene"

So yeah, confirmed.

Is KCD 1 easily moddable? If somebody wanted to make a real KCD 2, without any of 2 but the new models, could they add landmass and quests?

It's a machine translation, so I wouldn't be quite that certain about the wording.

Not really, even with the tools it's a nightmare to get it to do anything. Which is also why the Musa 'fakes' (they're not fakes btw) would be so ridiculously hard to pull off.

The more I argued with them, the more I got to know their dialectics. First they counted on the ignorance of their adversary; then, when there was no way out, they themselves pretended stupidity. If all this was of no avail, they refused to understand or they changed the subject when driven into a corner; they brought up truisms, but they immediately transferred their acceptance to quite different subjects, and, if attacked again, they gave way and pretended to know nothing exactly.

Wherever one attacked one of these prophets, one's hands seized slimy jelly; it slipped through one's fingers only to collect again in the next moment. If one smote one of them so thoroughly that, with the bystanders watching, he could but agree, and if one thus thought he had advanced at least one step, one was greatly astonished the following day. The Jew did not in the least remember the day before, he continued to talk in the same old strain as if nothing had happened, and if indignantly confronted, he pretended to be astonished and could not remember anything except that his assertions had already been proved true the day before.

Often I was stunned. One did not know what to admire more: their glibness of tongue or their skill in lying.

I gradually began to hate them.

I should add a code of conduct to rpghq
Okay, I'll start by suggesting the first rule:

1. Please do not claim the Holocaust happened (since it didn't)
But it should have.
I'll continue by suggesting the second rule:

2. No *******.

Part of the issue, if I read comments from modders correctly, is that you can't really modify the base game in any significant way. You can use the toolkit to create new maps, but you can't add or remove anything from the base game.

It's why modding for KCD1 is almost nonexistent, despite modding tools having been released for the game.

The only rule should be you must be a White Man. If you are a White Woman, you must post tits or gtfo, and you must be pretty and available.

That is uncannily accurate, where did he say this?
Love how it can also be applied to most women I know XD Is there an adjective that sums up this description in one word? Aside from Jew or ****, that is.

Mein Kampf, you should track down and read the book. Just be sure to find an edition that didn't get tampered with too heavily.

I have many books to catch up to already, but will add this to my list then, thank you
Will ask in the book thread for help if I can't find an original version when the time comes.

This truly is a great quote that has aged like a fine wine. The more time goes on the more true the quote becomes.

"Some ideas are so stupid that only an intellectual would believe them." ~ George Orwell
"Every communist is really a capitalist without any cash in his pockets." ~ Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen

That's not actually entirely true. Bows were generally easier to employ quickly, and to train for.
I disagree. War bows are notorious for requiring years of training, both in strength and in the fast aim necessary to make shots count. (Because you can't hold them drawn for more than a few seconds, and generally don't.)
The English crown notoriously implemented a social program to train archers from childhood in the villages, selecting the biggest and strongest to be the longbowmen of the realm.
I would agree with you more on the lighter hunting short bows of low draw strength intended for small game and fowl.

There are treatises of the era that tell of the amazing speed with which untrained troops can be made proficient with light and medium crossbows, but that arming them was expensive compared to the standard war bows of central and southern Europe and the Middle East. (Not the greatbows of northern and western Europe, which were quite expensive as the proper wood and skill to make them was rare.)
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

Ha! There are no unskippable gay sex scenes. Hold on, there are gay dialogue options, but NO: none of the cutscenes are unskippable. Checkmate, bigots!
