Crossbows are way easier than bows, though. Like comically so. Even using every modern trick available like using wrist trigger releases and compound bows it still makes them far more difficult to operate and aim than a crossbow. If your crossbow is properly sighted and you have taken care of it (waxed the rails and string) it’s almost effortless.
