Tag365 wrote: ↑ January 16th, 2025, 04:49I guess it's Larian's attempt at a meme. I saw it on a news article on a website.
An oxymoron if I've ever heard one.
Ya and it’s ****, 99% of Owlcat media posting are cringy memes with 1 % actual worth while updates about the company. I get the the odd meme or saw but I expect a game studio media account not be someones personal Reddit account.UltraFan123 wrote: ↑ January 16th, 2025, 05:33Owlcat also likes to do that, pretend to be "cool meme guys" with predictable cringe results.

What are all those thousands of people doing still playing BG1/2? Or Skyrim? Moddable RPGs live forever. There are so many new mods to try, but even in the base game - different races, subclasses, choices. The last patch introduced a meaningful evil ending, for example. Next one adds 12 (?) new subclasses. Plenty of things to do there still.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ January 16th, 2025, 00:57What are they even doing at this point? People who still play Skyrim are gooners
People who still play BG3 are femgooners
Which one is it?Vergil wrote: ↑ January 16th, 2025, 15:59Here I am stuck in the middle with yoouuTKVNC wrote: ↑ January 16th, 2025, 15:57NahPixiGreen wrote: ↑ January 16th, 2025, 15:54

The only kernel of truth in this brainless twaddle. Of course the woman has it ***-backwards why these parts of fandom are so enduring. Spoiler alert: it's because the characters involved were very well written and fleshed out. Attaching a shallow romance to your fanfic-tier story does not automatically give the involved characters depth or complexity.rusty_shackleford wrote: ↑ December 8th, 2024, 00:50https://archive.ph/ZGU3S"Romance is one of the longest-tail parts of a fandom you can create," Welch said. Of course, that is also an option, yes...Reichspepe wrote: ↑ February 7th, 2025, 21:22@fkirenicus Probably wait for Patch 8 and the new mods. That's what I'm doing.
Hmm lot of girl bosses in BG3 still and won't be modded out any time soon because of the sheer effort. So its about what is worse to you:Nico wrote: ↑ February 7th, 2025, 21:36Now, the real question : which is less woke ? Modded Baldur's Gate 3 or vanilla Kingdom Come 2 ?
Seems like something only a Magic 8 Ball can decide.orinEsque wrote: ↑ February 7th, 2025, 21:47Hmm lot of girl bosses in BG3 still and won't be modded out any time soon because of the sheer effort. White, lgbtg free modded baldur's gate with some girl bosses in a fantasy universe?
Or some gay ****** from wakanda, *** protagonists, gypsy and jew sympathizing in a game claiming to be historical?
I vote KCD2. The "woke" story elements in BG3 is allegorical since it's a fantasy setting, so you can just mod the aesthetics and gayness out, then just suspend your disbelief.Nico wrote: ↑ February 7th, 2025, 21:36Now, the real question : which is less woke ? I'm just assuming, isn't the lack of 'female representation' in the setting used to highlight the need for feminism in a preachy way?loregamer wrote: ↑ February 7th, 2025, 21:58I vote KCD2.
