ELEX 2 is bad enough that I didn't bother past 20 minutes, but it also means I can't pass judgement on it the way I suffered through Fallout 3. I'll have to subject myself to it again at some point.

Of course that means having to play as Soyjax.
Did you like elex 1?

BG3 chapter 3. Crikey.

Chapter 1 is at times extremely good. So quite the feat to destroy everything so utterly as Larian has done in ch. 3.
Even the music in ch 3 is bad.

ME Andromeda. Everything about it was worse than original trilogy. Aliens designs downgraded, awful animations, toddler body proportions, ect.
Me too. The main plot is almost the same as the main Trilogy with just few tweaks.

Torment: Tides of Numenera.

It is the only RPG that I've played for HOURS, trying to find something redeeming about it, only to find only more crap. Every pixel is an affront to the hobby. Every scene screams of money wasted.

It is the only RPG that made me physically angry, because I usually can find *some* reason or lawyer some sort of cope for the crap I see on screen. But when you have Planescape: Torment as template and you **** it up SO bad you use the word "antediluvian" 20s into a setting that is supposed to happen billions of years into the future, I just got angry.

Can't choose one between Mass Effect Andromeda, Witcher 3 and BG3, all for different reasons, but still worst.

Good pick. I was going for it before I remembered tyranny. Could have written the same text as well.

Not considering any one-man or ramen-budget games, Tyranny is the one RPG I never managed to get pass the 5h mark. Sure, there were a lot of systematic issues with it, but it just took itself way too seriously. The writing is easily the worst of any game I have ever played and has all the issues amplified by 10 from these era of games (aka Kickstarter era where pitches included the word count, because more words = better RPG apparently).
Tyranny's main issue is it's half a game because they raided the funds for it.

Tides of Numenera was such a slog that I couldn't even get through the first 2-3 hours. It was like trying to eat wet cardboard.
I did finish Tyranny and it really is unfinished. It was obvious they ran out of (i.e. sneakily misappropriated it for PoE2: Shitfire) funds and had to quickly wrap up the story with some ****** sequel bait.

Tried to beat it twice. First time I also had to give up after 2-3 hours. Second time I really tried hard because codex said it's totally worth for the hive or whatever it's called. Well, didn't make it much further.

It's wild that so many Kickstarter "dream" RPGs could legit be included on a worst rpg list. Pillars, numenuma , bards tale...

I actually finished Tyranny. It wasn't great but it was finishable. Numa Numa was trash.

Fallout 3 might actually be the winner though.
It is actually one of the worst games ever. It's only redeeming quality was paving the way for New Vegas.

Mass Effect Andromeda is a close second. Just soulless cold wet garbage (if you ignore the woke).

I'd have to go with BG3. Older rpgs even at their worst never quite mentally stunlocked me as modern titles.

I acquired it for free because I wanted to see myself what the hype was about and it was an absolute rollercoaster that ended in me deleting the game upon ending act 2. Halsin is a child predator and sexual deviant, I seriously wrote an entire essay to some friends explaining why and how much I hated him. Sadly, he's just the worst of an already loathesome cast. Everyone is a snow flake with their own worldly crisis while I'm some white paladin dude just trying to maintain good in a world already tainted by the DEI. Initially I just ignored a lot of it because the combat was alright and to their credit there are a lot of choices/options available. It's only when I thought harder about the content that it dawned on me.

What made me quit specifically was I saved the angel **** from that prison and then it turned out she was a lesbian. Red flag, but I was already knee deep in red flags at that point. The absolute last straw was when I go back to camp after the act 2 final boss and go up to her to finally get some answers, to which I am rebuffed with "go away white boy, the lesbians need time together". No *****, I am the party leader and this is my camp.

I quit shortly after. The game is so entrenched with ideology it could be studied on how to successfully bait people into liberalism. The first half is just ******* satanic race refugees/immigrants trying to reach Lond- Baldurs Gate. Insane. And to constantly see people hoping BG3 is used as an example of all RPGs going forward fills me with dread.

BG3 feels like a sexual assault simulator, idk if it was changed at all since launch. Unsurprisingly the same people who think everything is sexual assault were busy being femcels over it

Why yes, I would like to learn magic.

Diablo 3 but is less RPG than shooters like FC3.

I really hate everything about it. Nonsensical armor design, flashy spells, cooldowns, everyone of the same class being a clone, your weapon determining spells, minions and unarmed attack damage(...)
If that counts, then I'll give my two cents with Borderlands 2. Design is contrary to everything that makes Diablo clones work, and if that's not bad enough you have to endure the obnoxious art and the Big Bang Theory-tier reddit humour.

It's actually depressing how degenerate our "entertainment" has gotten.
