Something I realized while modding Skyrim though is that things CAN work another way, but the modder will insist they do not/it's impossible until he is pressed to admit it after people post guides (and even then he will insist that the method that uses frameworks, his own personal/his friend's install menager, or whatever else, is the best option). Many examples with mods being "incompatible" (FNIS and Nemesis working together for example) are easily solved but anyone saying so is hunted down, so I do encourage anyone that wants things to work differently to continue insisting, because there are other ways to do things.

This CAN be true, but in the case of this game, you HAVE to use the mod manager or the game ignores whatever files you put anywhere.
Anyone installing any mods for this game knows this.
The only alternative is to manually unpack the pak files for the mod and the game using a separately downloaded command line tool, manually replace or integrate the files, then repack the changed pak files.
Which is so mental that it's like driving around the planet to go to the store down the street. You can do that, but you can't read the instructions?

For example, I can manually edit Bethesda game files using a hex editor and get a working result, but why would I?

Most Bethesda mods will work fine without a mod manager, with an asterisk for loose files overwriting each other. It would also be a pain to organize load order.
But you can absolutely freeze an installation and distribute it np

Anyone ever played this one?

First game I ever played alongside Windows' games (Solitaire, Spider, the bomb field with yellow flowers thing, etc) and Prince of Persia from 1989 , really loved it whenever I could get a chance to play it, so strange to see it on Steam, of all places XD

Steam grading scale feels a little broken imo.
80% approve — waow, it's amazing!
70% approve — it's pretty good!
69% approve — it's ****
How people rate games are broken period.

People throw the word masterpiece( which basically means slightly above average) like a discord group chat room saying n*****ger to each other.

Probably "nigfagger" since *** is also a 3-letter-word.

Thought that was p funny. These are the Firewatch guys. Valley of Gods is some ultra woke walking sim I think, not sure why it takes them 10+ years to develop.

This is funny, but I do get depressed every time I hear the "child dying" SFX and see a pop-up that a kid died somewhere in my kingdom.

I’m calling BS on this . The game had very low player numbers steam for AAA release on launch and having big numbers on game pass isn’t a barometer for success as proven with such games as Hi Fi Rush.

this game was cancelled ages ago after Valve absorbed Firewatch team into its folds to help them develop Half Life Alyx.

I can see Disney trying to use the videogames medium to keep Indiana Jones (as well as their other semi-dormant franchises) alive in the public consciousness. They can't make another Indy film because the last one bombed horribly, and they can't just reboot the series because Harrison Ford, while old as ****, is still alive. The Great Circle may not sold well, but it received a generally favorable reviews from critics and players alike (we're in the minority, normal people loved the game), and will likely have a decent staying power due to the word of mouth.

With these numbers, it really doesn't matter how many DLs that got on Game Pass
