Proof. Gandohar is dead, but the movies skipped for me. I was really confused about what happened after I gave him the 5 relics because it just popped me right into town with no explanation.

Cool strat: attack, lure the boss into town and position so splash damage hurts a villager, demonstrate patience for one minute

Max level boss fight: shoot 3 arrows while standing still

► Review

That was a fun game. Liked equipment and magic systems with the ability to combine same items and cards to level them up. Alchemy is neat though I used it mostly for the permanent stat increases when the ingredients were available. Combat is a bit lackluster - melee can be hard with multiple enemies and magic is a bit overpowered. I went through the game using mostly the fireball spell and at some point I found out a buff that enhances the spell's damage so I used this combination for the more difficult enemies. I beat the final boss with 3 enhanced fireballs so it was a bit anticlimactic though Reist was more difficult. The plot and the world are simple but they do their job. Overall, it's a solid game and it doesn't overstay its welcome.

The game has stiff animations that were not properly interpolated, making a game running at 165 fps look like 20. The walking was not synced right so every human looked like MJ moonwalking forwards sliding everywhere. The melee combat barely functioned and half of me hits missed to no fault of my own. The dialogue was funny but terrible. I beat the game without any clothes on the entire time and kept the torch out no matter what. 10 hours and most of my time off lost to this game.

In short, was this a good game?

Installed the game and still had my old save with two relic parts down, so I just finished it up.

Finished this eurojank, not a horrible game but it's pretty much just a janky open world sloppa, if anything, it feels more of a singleplayer MMO than a proper RPG. Still a better game than Gothic 3 but that's it.
