A free TC for Half-Life was just released on Steam... I don't know anything about it, but just posting it here for funsies.
Ha, I just played it a few minutes ago.
Is it worth trying out?
it depends on your experience with hl1 and its singleplayer mods. If you've never played any HL mods, then you should first play the classics (they hunger, poke 646, etc). Or 'Half Life Echoes' if you want something newer.
Delta is playable, but not all that great. It's kinda boring and badly paced, has a kinda 'flat' level design.
It's fine so far. Kinda throws you into the game without any explanation but I guess just follow the signs. There is a female scientist that has a completely different model than everyone else. (See pic related)
Gameplay is so far Half-Life. The color you mainly see for the HUD and details and armors is purple. There are also NPC survivors that can do certain things. Sometimes you need them to open a door, or you find a keycard.
It also seems like the scientist lady is into the main character.
Looks very gaypurplegaypurplegaypurplegaypurplegaypurplegaypurplegaypurplegaypurple bisexual
I did get Granblue Fantasy now. I like the character designs, but as always the japanese do something I do not like. Gran and Lyria obviously should be in a committed relationship especially since their fates are intertwined and she gets red when talking to him.
Yeah, it's frustrating they writers don't have them tie the knot, while side characters are allowed to get married. Especially when Gran turned down marrying Princess Alliah to remain loyal to Lyria.

You go to http://game.granbluefantasy.jp/#top . There is a dropdown you can click to set the language to English. You will be prompted to create a MOBAge account to save your progress. There is the Christmas free draw event right now where you gets lots of free draws every day just for logging in, and I think if you login before January 5th you can still get a free grand character pick ticket. The main story starts off as meh, but I started getting invested in it around chapter 40, when they went to the Crew of Enforcer's HQ on Amalthea Island. There were also several entertaining side stories, but you need to get to chapter 50 I think to unlock most of them, which doesn't take too long.

Seems like Brave doesn't get along with the game, I had to switch to Chrome instead.
First Characters I pulled are Charlotta, Viceroy, Stan, Ladiva, Lucius

Was just going to post this too, does anyone know if it's a good game?
Also, careful of clicking add to library right away, they want to send you things by email as an exchange

Is this the one where the guy wants to bang his sister or vice versa?
I like the price thoughts on this? I've heard about long loading screens.
They were outrageously long during release time, and some transitions utterly useless. But apparently it improved a bit. Certainly worth playing, very BG1

I played it near the end of early access and enjoyed it, it's the only IE-like that actually feels like BG1 instead of BG2. Swordhaven too, now, I suppose — but it doesn't really feel like any IE game but "what if Fallout, but Baldur's Gate?"
But the loading times were really bad. Will try it again when the DLC drops.
To feel like BG1 you need a less epic plot, focus on local political machinations but not be the center of attention. BG2 revolves around the main character too much.

I just watched a video of some guy about this game today. How weird.
Lemme guess, some ****** called MitchManix hating on the game?
I don't remember his name. I got to the part where the MC and his sister mix blood for the first time, accidentally clicked somewhere much further along on the time bar, was to lazy to go back and search for the place I was supposed to be, and just quit watching.
The "Kingdom Come: Deliverance Royal Edition" with all that game's DLC is on sale for 80% off on GOG for the next few days. From the sounds of it we'll eventually be running KCD in the Adventurer's Guild so this may be a good time to snag it.
Only 10% and not out until December. May as well wait until the Christmas sale. Will probably be the same but you never know.
Turns out I was wrong, it wasn't in the sale at all. Does anyone know why Defiance wasn't remastered too?
Not sure if it's the reason, but a friend that is very passionate about the saga says they are remaking (or planning to remake it based on the sales) Blood Omen 1, maybe that might be the reason?
Also, from what I've seen from him playing they made some strange changes to the game (woman statue turned ugly on purpose, a window that seemed to show Juliet and Romeo kissing, or some other such thing, replaced by a completely different image, and other such things).
Blood Omen 1 was always the best game anyways. Best writing, best protagonist, most blood, least pushing around stupid ******* moving block puzzles. If they remake it, it better stay a top-down 2d hack and slash.

The trooners who remaster these games do it as a pretense to remove things they don't like.
