EA HYPE THREAD

Post by 1998 »

Current EA games are being discussed here. There were a few more that I considered including, but they didn't have threads. If you want them included, let me know.

Most promising is Swordhaven, easy. It's already a significantly better game than most of the others.

Cautiously optimistic it will cause a studio to shutdown award goes to Greedfall 2.

Will probably be good:
Archaelund, Monomyth
There's still hope:
New Arc Line, Corsairs Legacy

I wish it was going to be good but I know it's going to be ****:
Banquet for Fools, Urban Strife

I feel the same way as rusty with Swordhaven being most promising and Greedfall 2 being... less, than cautiously optimistic, for me. Unfortunatly so too because I played the first one after seeing Oyster speak highly of it and, if it will suck, it will be a great loss, was looking forward to more games like it
Another I am getting to be cautiously optimistic about would be A Banquet for Fools . Seemed great when I played, but people here with experience with the developers warned me about it, so it will be a great shame if that one will suck too.

All in all though, after Baldur's Gate 3, I would say I am cautiously optimistic about everything except for Lair of the Leviathan viewtopic.php?t=2396-lair-of-the-leviat ... leviathan , though it is not an EA.
- Here to show my support for normal gaming.

Thank you for existing! :bounce:

BoF, watch out; they don't have a great track record. So far, they have always underdelivered for various reasons.

Greedfall was pretty good, in my humble opinion, some heavy handed politics at times, but overall, a solid 7/10.

2nd one looks like they're double-dipping on woke. Shame.

LMAO
Me too. I wanted to post the "Be Gay Sports. It's being gay!" video but settled on a simpler "amirite" joke.
I'm like freaking Mr. Magoo, stumbling into being on topic.

I'd add Stellar Tactics and The Darkness Below to the list.
