What’s your go to chill game?
Hello, what is yours the go to chill game? Like a game you play after playing intense and fast paced one. Also you can suggest different types of chill/relazing games.

Funny, I was just about to say PoE2. It isn't exactly "chill", but it lets you pause, so I can play it while eating, unlike Monster Hunter.
I really like CS surfing. It's always my go to when I'm just chilling in call with the bros
Jingle Jangle Jingle
Book of Hours, Factorio.
Come to think of it, I also used to run Minecraft, when it still was good.

Rhythm games. Dancing Persona (3, 4, 5) and Taiko no Tatsujin are my favourites.
Good songs that I love and that put me into a nice mood contribute to the "relaxing / good" vibes the most. But of course, if I go for hardcore difficulties and perfect runs it can be frustrating at times.

Diablo 1 and 2 and The total war series.
Those can be played in short bursts without much thinking while doing something more constructive on the side.

Used to be Destiny 2 for me, but they removed everything that kept me into the game and perverted everything else.
Alien Shooter

does scratch that itch a little, but I played so much of that game in the past that it is all muscle memory at this point XD

LMAO
It's not that complex or difficult. I usually try to remake the Hellenic Roman Empire or the Persian Empire, or just raid as a Norse ruler, or genocide all the darkies and reclaim the Iberian Peninsula as Navarra.
"Oh, it all makes sense now, brother."
Doom I + II or some Retro game. Well-targeted rockets or BFG hits on a big group of demons are so comfy that it becomes relaxing.
None comes to mind for the latter, in recent times. Usually some Platformer.

Original Crash Trilogy + Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
I don't subscribe to the idea that the original crash games are frustratingly hard. All you need is a modicum of patience and the challenge is slim to none.

SimCity 4, Tropico 4, and Stardew Valley

Actually the economics side of CK2 is incredibly simple. Try Imperialism 2 for a better system (it begins in late middle ages).Valter wrote: ↑ December 25th, 2024, 21:11In awe at you fellas that boot up a map painting game with intricate economic and warfare systems to "relax"
