That's still confusing because the third game picks up a lot of stuff from the books (Ciri, Yennefer, that thing Geralt did with the genie with Yennefer) that wasn't in the previous games at all. Unless they just assume this stuff was brought up in the games they didn't play?

I don't believe rape counts as voluntary choice of sexual orientation. Rape and SA in general are horrible crimes and you can't change people's sexuality with it.

Iv been holding out on playing W1 because iv heard of a remake being made. But as i understand from a few funny youtube clips iv seen the original has a LOT of things that probably won't fly with todays snowflakes. Bunch of racism, derogatory comments etc Maybe i should just play it despite the weird combat if they gonna make it lame.
