Update. Bit the bullet and bought a cheaper code for the steam version (about 60 bucks for the deluxe edition instead of 90 I think) since the game pass version is not modable and I do want to see negro-free version of it and maybe hohol war references removed.

I honestly expect a painfully mediocre game, horribly optimized, with no soul and weak atmosphere.

But not that offensively bad that I couldn't finish it once to tell myself I didn't overspend on my system.

German reviews I am reading mention nothing of the hohols and their war. They just talk about content, performance and such
