And it's gone gold. Guess they couldn't polish the turd any further. Really hope it's decent, but from what I've seen it's going to be mediocre.

Nothing the mods won't fix. It does suck major *** that the player gets starting ARs though - should've gotten a ****** AKS-74u or just the weakest makarov.
aven ak74 round is better than 556.
and makarov will do more way more tissue dmg as well at close range
ppl who design and balance those game have no clue about guns, they even made ak charging handle on opposite side in first stlaker i suppose so u can see cases eject.

they should just make marked one lefty

also the stalker 2 has something i really hate with scopes. it zooms entire screen rather than just scope area. if they cant code it they should at least black area around scope so u dont have zoomed perfyferal vision which u shouldnt have.

also the g36 is dogshit and u cant see **** thru integrated trash optic and they made it like ******* acog in game. with all the western bad guns stolen and sold on black market in jewkraine they should know better.

I've been playing this the past few hours. I'd be willing to bet it's a far better, and more accurate game to the STALKER experience than this new piece of **** about to be released.

Yeah, it's got a lot of issues, but it's okay.

You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

Are there any games like this that restrict the map to your character's field of vision, so you need to find maps and remember the places you've been?

Darkwood does this - your character has a cone of vision and the map doesn't show you where you are, just landmarks you have found, which you use to find your way around.

Nox also limited your field of view.

From what i read it has story campaign and the world is devided for single and mmo content. Sounds stupid but we'll see.

Dear stalkers,

It feels utterly surreal to say that, but S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is out now.
That’s totally wild. So was the whole development story.

Despite all the odds, it’s here. Our biggest game, our own story, our love letter to Ukraine. After more than 15 years, the doors to the Zone are opened once again.

This is a very important, very exciting, and very memorable day for all of us.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is meaningful in its own way for each fan. We hope that those who have been familiar with the universe for a long time will immediately feel at home and recognize that very same S.T.A.L.K.E.R. For all newcomers, we hope you'll immerse yourselves in the magical, alien, and all-powerful Zone, and, feeling its unique emotions, will stay with us for a long time.

This is a project of endless love and passion from the entire team. We genuinely believe that this is felt throughout — you’ll feel it in the handcrafted world, you’ll feel it in the laboratory and in the poppy fields, or during the first emission, or intense battle with a bloodsucker, or the stylish reload of your new gun, or first seeing Prypiat under the moonlight. There are so many things in the game that we are incredibly proud of.

Nevertheless, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is a massive game. We understand that in such a game, there may still be rough edges: we literally haven't released anything of this scale before. We’re absolutely committed to being here, monitoring your feedback, and quickly fixing any issues that need our attention. In the first days after release, we’ll be working with hotfixes, rolling them out as precisely as possible, but as frequently as we can. Then, we’ll switch to larger updates that include constant improvements. There will also be free in-game content — we’ll share its roadmap later in December.
We have big plans for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe. In a way, today is both a return and the beginning of a grand new journey.

We’re blessed to have you before, we’re blessed to have you now. The Zone belongs to you. Have fun.

With L.O.V.E.

Update. Bit the bullet and bought a cheaper code for the steam version (about 60 bucks for the deluxe edition instead of 90 I think) since the game pass version is not modable and I do want to see negro-free version of it and maybe hohol war references removed.
