But that doesn't mean that it has anything whatsoever to do with this mod, and I think it would be deranged for this mod to change something like that.

There is also the brain eater at the start of the game, "We are Us". Wtf is that? Is it one or is it many? The English language is too confusing nowadays. Imagine your spouse going on a business trip alone, arriving in the hotel room and calling you:" We have arrived, dear". "We? Who else is with you?" "No, it's just us" "???"

How the **** is this confusion to you? I genuinely don't understand. It's intentionally cryptic and hive-mind-y, because it's supposed to be representative of an alien intelligence for which individuality does not exist. There's nothing confusing whatsoever about this, and the fact that this is one of the few times in the game where this is actually done even remotely resembling well (I have bitched about this at length before) is a black mark on the game, not "confusing". What the **** is this autism.

Yet that thing is NOT connected to ANY other of it kind. You are just as confuse as the MC when he/she/it asked "where are we" after getting out of the mind flayer pod, alone.

1. Notepad++ or something similar (https://notepad-plus-plus.org/)
2. Norbyte's LSLib Export tool (https://github.com/Norbyte/lslib/releases)
3. ShinyHobo's Multi-Tool (https://github.com/ShinyHobo/BG3-Modders-Multitool)

1. Extract Language Pak
We will assume you are extracting a French pak file

1. Find your localization file under a path similar to: Baldurs Gate 3\Data\Localization\French.pak (this can be English.pak, Italian.pak etc)
2. Copy the file to a location that does NOT have an empty space in the path. And is not a system folder.
3. Open LSLib and navigate to the PAK/LSV Tools Tab
4. Under "Extract package" section, in the Package Path field, copy and paste the location and filename of your French.pak file
5. Under Destination path, paste in the name of the folder where you want to extract the package. Let's go with C:\Desktop\French
6. Hit Extract Package
7. Download and unzip the NoAlphabets Lingo PAK mod from the Translator's Resource table in the Downloads Tab. Inside you will find the NoAlphabetsLingo.pak
8. Use the exact same methods as above to extract this packaged into for example C:\Desktop\NoAlphabetsLingo folder.

2. Get a human readable Loca file

1. You can now navigate to C:\Desktop\French\Localization\French. There you will see a "french.loca"
2. Open LSLib and navigate to the Localization Tab
3. Under Input file path, copy and paste the location and filename of your loca file, in this case, C:\Desktop\French\Localization\French\french.loca
4. Under Output file path, paste the exact same path, but replace the file name from french.loca to french.xml
5. Hit Convert
6. Repeat the same process for C:\Desktop\NoAlphabetsLingo\Localization\English\english.loca

3. Editing Loca file

1. Open the <language>.xml file in notepad++ or similar application
2. Below is a sample. contentuid, otherwise known as handle, will be same across languages and must NOT be changed. Only change the part where it says "This is an ingame text".

3. Open NoAlphabetsLingo's english.xml. All the changed lines are in this file. You can search for the contentuid / handle to find the equivalent text in your french.xml file.

Editing Dialogue
Its now possible to only change specific lines

1. Put your line changes in an english.xml file under the following structure
   YourMod/Mods/YourMod/Localization/English/english.xml
   
   Note: For a french translator this would be: YourMod/Mods/YourMod/Localization/French/french.xml
2. Add the original line in this structure:
   
3. Alter the lines and increase the version number of each line by 1
   
4. Pack the mod using BG3 modding tool or official mod kit.

Important: lingo files no longer take notes or free text out side tags. If you add them, your game will crash.

Finished entire game with this mod branch, thank you.
One of the biggest upsides of the game was the atmosphere ( to me the game appears to be quite raw in a sense, six million small **** ups ) without this mods it wouldn't be playable for me.
Also, too many ******* in game.

I've created a tool that makes your life easier:
XML comparison: Automates extraction of lines that No Alphabets (or any mod) changed/added, in YOUR language.
Version Fixer: Automates increasing the version of each line so it shows up correctly in-game. So you don't have to autistically do it one by one.

Other uses: Did some nexus ****** not update for patch 7 and his crap is still replacing every line in game? Just extract the lines he changed by doing a comparison between the vanilla english.xml file and the mod's english.xml file and Create your own mod!

It's pretty self-explanatory anyway if you know how the localization works. But for newbies, I've written up detailed instructions on how to use it in the "TRANSLATE" Tab.

Alright, this should be it. It's a save from the very first night in Act 3, just outside Rivington and Wrym's Crossing. If this isn't the one you need, then just let me know - I have saves at every long rest for both a regular and dark urge playthrough, so finding the right one shouldn't be too difficult at all.
