If you think about it, MC is no longer a single entity. MC has a tadpole in his head
So that parasite is counted as...another you? Would you address yourself as "we" because you have parasites living in your head or any other parts of your body? Would it do the thinking for you or with you? When you speak, is that your parasite speaking or you both speaking? Your line of thinking is just too alien and abnormal to me bth.
Since you put it that way I'll change it and push it in the next update. Thank you for your patience.

I disagree strongly with this on principle.

But that doesn't mean that it has anything whatsoever to do with this mod, and I think it would be deranged for this mod to change something like that.

There is also the brain eater at the start of the game, "We are Us". Wtf is that? Is it one or is it many? The English language is too confusing nowadays. Imagine your spouse going on a business trip alone, arriving in the hotel room and calling you:" We have arrived, dear". "We? Who else is with you?" "No, it's just us" "???"
How the **** is this confusion to you? I genuinely don't understand. It's intentionally cryptic and hive-mind-y, because it's supposed to be representative of an alien intelligence for which individuality does not exist. There's nothing confusing whatsoever about this, and the fact that this is one of the few times in the game where this is actually done even remotely resembling well (I have bitched about this at length before) is a black mark on the game, not "confusing". What the **** is this autism. :notsureif:
Yet that thing is NOT connected to ANY other of it kind. You are just as confuse as the MC when he/she/it asked "where are we" after getting out of the mind flayer pod, alone.
Whatever, embrace your language and culture corruption. You deserve it.

Well said.

@Kain , maybe you should make a "Make English great again" mod instead of complaining in this thread. I'm not sure you realise, I only care about getting rid of ******* and ******** from my gameplay.

Finished entire game with this mod branch, thank you.
One of the biggest upsides of the game was the atmosphere ( to me the game appears to be quite raw in a sense, six million small **** ups ) without this mods it wouldn't be playable for me.
Also, too many ******* in game.

Update for Translators: BG3 Localization Helper

Download link: https://f.rpghq.org/fmsUE3yyBV9e.zip?n= ... r-v1.0.zip

Translators and would-be translators rejoice.

I've created a tool that makes your life easier:
XML comparison: Automates extraction of lines that No Alphabets (or any mod) changed/added, in YOUR language.
Version Fixer: Automates increasing the version of each line so it shows up correctly in-game. So you don't have to autistically do it one by one.

Other uses: Did some nexus ****** not update for patch 7 and his crap is still replacing every line in game? Just extract the lines he changed by doing a comparison between the vanilla english.xml file and the mod's english.xml file and Create your own mod!

It's pretty self-explanatory anyway if you know how the localization works. But for newbies, I've written up detailed instructions on how to use it in the "TRANSLATE" Tab.

Calling all translators: @Tipfy, @Aleks1398, @Faceless_Sentinel, @Lyx0081 ,
@Alef Zero, @Reichspepe, @Some1LikeYou, @Devseena , @lowryder

I've made this mainly because I'm no longer sticking new lines in the bottom of the lingo file. Instead they are ordered by the type of degeneracy.

I just found something INSANELY annoying.
96 different voice lines by 54 NPCs, in 59 conversation streams, use the gender neutral term... Saer... yes this is basically Xe/xer nonsense.

You have some guy referring to Fist women as Saer Fist.
And sometimes NPCs refer to you the PC as saer, or you introduce yourself as saer. Yeah would need a gender tag in the dialog tree :headbang:

All the conversations curiously occur in Act 3
You can tell exactly when Sweet Baby Inc WOtSC intervened.

And because of how ******* annoying it is to find WHO these lines are referring to automatically... will be a while before i do them.
If any of you want to help I can give you a list of voiced lines that have Saer in them. You can use modding tools to find what it's in reply too... and maybe even WHO its in reply to.

I'll work on the rest of NA in the meantime, and focusing on detrooning and defagging for now.

Corruptions of "sir" aren't unheard of in fantasy. ASOIF and DA use "ser", for example. I think if women were medieval fighty knights in the real world they would have also been referred to as sir, so the problem lies with the settings' gender equality more than the term itself.

It's an explicitly gender neutral word, it's pronounced like "sayer"

You have Ser and Dame, and Sir and Dame.

Saer isn't a knightly title, its a gender neutral pronoun for men and women of unknown/unspecified nobility.

So instead of Sir/Madam/Miss you are using Saer

Jaheira says: "Saer, yes, saer" <- in reponse to a click move action for example.

Can someone volunteer a savegame just before Halsin starts spewing about his gay misadventures? I snipped that dialogue off, need to check if it works.

Alright, this should be it. It's a save from the very first night in Act 3, just outside Rivington and Wrym's Crossing. If this isn't the one you need, then just let me know - I have saves at every long rest for both a regular and dark urge playthrough, so finding the right one shouldn't be too difficult at all.

Now that I think about, it makes no sense to me that the Nightsong says they are resplendent when you free them.
I thought that if you describe someone or something as resplendent, you mean that their appearance is very impressive and expensive-looking.

Years of torture and imprisonment and the first thing he says is that he's pretty?
Why would he say that instead of something like "I'm free"?

Is resplendent another word the rainbow mafia has co-opted?

It makes sense with Ser Aylin, cuz he's clean shaven and shiny now. in context of selune, radiant is the closest meaning to resplendent that makes sense to me:

After years of being in prison, the nightsong is no more and he continues with:
Look at me, I'm Ser Aylin the aasimar knight, I am radiant once again.

I wouldn't think too hard about it.
