First time opening the bronze sphere in PS:T and ... learning ny name. And later, forcing the other half of me to re-join me, as we were meant to be. With probably my absolutely favorite OST playing in the background. Still gives me goosebumps.
And the prize for not being at war with myself and the multiverse? Serving in the Blood War.

I remember many close shaves like that, where something random helped me pull off a victory. At some point, I do remember fighting two of the robots after blowing up that firework shop. I had like two, almost dead characters left, Gale and another, and I managed to win by flying onto the rooftops with Gale, drawing the aggro of the surviving robot, whilst the other character hid in smoke/ invisibility and dealt with the other surviving NPCs.

Although I think the BG3 best experiences were playing with @Vergil, @loregamer, @Makirige, @Silver, @orinEsque
Even though playing co op harms the experience in many ways, you don't pay attention to the story as much, and trying to get that many mods to work with that many people can be excruciating.

I have to agree with this. It was a lot of fun playing Multiplayer. Will try and get it back up again once BBE is done.

Oof yeah, I'm having a multiplayer run going on with my boyfriend, and we only have party adjustment limit mod on bc of the hassle of multiple mods.

I remember also those guys in the firework shop, but I just trolled them by putting Astarion sniping them by other roof (it was really funny when they were so confused by who was it while I hid Astarion) and then I put the other chars to finish the job.

Probably exploring Tarant in Arcanum. It felt a lot bigger when you had a small resolution, especially if you weren't using a walkthru. When playing games from this era I'd recommend playing at a max of 1280x720 and upscaling rather than using 'HD patches' that let you see the entire map at once, as it was never intended to be viewed like that.
Exploring the Citadel in Mass Effect is close. I'd play a game set entirely on the Citadel.

sacrificing townsfolk in fable1 for the best bow in the game, close second sacrificing wyll to booooal in bg3. Shame rimworld and stellaris are mostly top down and menu type games or I probably had lots of fun there too. Unlocking cheats in shadows of the empire once you got all challenge points on hard difficulty. Which were ridiculous well hidden. And the game was hard. (but bad controls)

Defeating Lord Bela in Wizardy 6 with a party of 2 Fighters, a Valkyrie, a Ninja, a Mage and a Bard. Claiming the Cosmic Forge then importing the save to Wizardry 7, seeing the beginning and the rest of the game affected by it.

I took one company far enough in Battle Brothers that when I retired, they didn't know what to do with their lives, so they became bandits. I thought that was endearing.

My greatest RPG moment was realizing, after I had won the main campaign in Skyrim, just how sinister Bethesda was at conning shittons of people into buying their "game" huehue.

EDIT: Myself including. Slick move 10/10

As I neared the end of Dragon Age, I was playing it near the start of a solar year and had forgotten the window was open. As I engaged the final boss, it rained down a purple breath weapon on my character. At that moment some wind kicked up and a flurry of snow entered the room for some perfectly timed haptic feedback.

Finished the fight before I closed the window.

One of the hardest things to beat in Dark Souls is The Four Kings, because it's a DPS race and their damage and HP scales with NG+. This means that a lot of people that don't really care about the mechanics, but that do try NG+ because they love the game, end up getting stumped at.

And so back when I played DS for the first time, I had made a character that was specifically designed to beat The 4 Kings. Perfect INT/DEX stats. Perfect slots for spells. Trident to buff the person that would summon me. Perfect items for defense. The works.

A guy on the Dark Souls Steam forums asks for help. I answer. I used the DSCM/Wulf's Mod to link with him. I come into his world.

I tell him what to do. Clear and concise instructions. He says: "I understand."

I proceed to eliminate the Kings in less than 10 minutes.

He calls me on Steam. Through sobs and tears he tells me he had been trying to beat them for over a week, and didn't know how. He asks me if he can buy me any game that I want. I told him that it's okay, and that he should just help other people instead.

He looked into my Wishlist and bought me Subnautica. I never had a chance to refuse.

The most brutal challenge in Dungeon of the Endless is the sanitary pod because you have extremely reduced resources, stronger enemies, and there is no realtime pause, meaning you have to micro 4 heroes at once against waves coming from multiple directions and any of them could die in less than a second if caught out of position. I had made a lot of attempts but could never beat it. It's a 2.1% achievement, so not easy at all.

One time I had a particularly promising run that all went to **** a past the halfway point (I don't remember how it happened but I know it was extremely cheap). Everyone was dead but Golgy, not exactly the best hero. I knew the run was completely ******, but I decided to keep on with it, and shockingly was able to clear the next several floors due to favorable layouts, and even accumulate a decent resource stash during that time. Eventually it was on to the final floor, which I knew I had no chance in hell of beating. I got absolutely brutally RNGed, ****** layouts, waves loaded with anti-module monsters when I was completely dependent on generators and modules to fight since all other heroes were dead. Every single wave saw massive resource attrition, generators and cannons being destroyed and rebuilt, desperate last-ditch fights with my hero kiting in and out of the crystal room trying to keep both the hero and crystal just barely alive, spamming heals on Golgy.

My resources were basically gone, with no exit point in sight and still tons of rooms to open on the massive floor, when I finally found a ray of hope. I opened a door and there was Gork--the biggest, chadliest, meatshield hero. I didn't even have the ******* food to recruit him, but surprisingly he survived through a couple more sets of waves, somewhat distracting them so that I didn't get hit by everything at once. At that point though, I was completely depleted and had nothing to rebuild defenses. It was time for a blind crystal run, still having large chunks of the floor unexplored and no idea where the exit was. I looked at the map for a while to plan potential routes, then grabbed the crystal.

At that point, all hell broke loose. Doors started opening, waves of monsters started crashing out, and eventually the exit door was exposed. I ran a little circular route that trained the monsters through Gork's room (since he wasn't "my" hero and I had no way to control or position him), and he sat there blasting the **** out of them like the chad that he is, while I ran through other waves of monsters for the exit. Gork made an epic last stand and died just as I made it out with a sliver of health, shitloads of monsters in tow.
