You're a special kind of stupid if you're talking about this in a heavily monitored and widely viewed (internal) workplace chat.

I manage to find this while watching a preview video for another mod. It's a surprisingly well-made and satisfying shitpost game based on Chud.
The entire game has custom enemies, bosses, and stage mechanics that fit well together both thematically and gameplay-wise. I would say it is fairly difficult yet satisfying once you manage to get the hang of the controls. Definitely recommend playing especially if you are a fan of action platformers! The final boss in particular caught me off-guard.

It appears frenchies are breaking up with SEGA. Endless Legend 2 is coming?

Our journey with SEGA over the last 8 years has been amazing, and we have learned so much working with them, but now we are returning to our roots as an independent studio. With ownership of the studio returning to some of our original founders and members of the team, the creative vision of our games and the Endless universe rests in the hands of those who know them best. While we are going our separate ways now, we part on good terms and wish our friends at SEGA the best for all their future projects.

Anyone played Old World? If so is it worth picking up?
So I came across sims clone (InZoi) being made by a south Korean studio. It looked interesting but I noticed that the steam promo pics feature prominent black male white female relationships. If this was a western studio I wouldn't think anything of it but i don't understand why a Korean studio would be thinking in those terms
South Korea has been wracked by feminism. Wouldn't be a stretch if they had adopted the rest of the globalist agenda as well.Ty6 wrote: ↑ November 10th, 2024, 18:34So I came across sims clone (InZoi) being made by a south Korean studio. There is a class action lawsuit filed against Ubisoft for shutting down Crew server. Usually I would be all in for screwing Ubi, but **** whoever filed that is plain ********
"Ubisoft misled consumers by telling them they were buying a game, when in fact, all they were renting was a limited license to access a game," the filing read.
The lawsuit claimed consumers were misled into believing they owned the game data either physically on a disc or via digitally downloaded files. Instead, the data was stored on a remote server that the physical and digital copies of the game provided access to.

When you buy something, you assume you own it. The companies intentionally don't correct this mistaken assumption but readily pull out the "You didn't buy a game, you bough a license to access a game." any time they ban you or shut down the servers.1998 wrote: ↑ November 12th, 2024, 13:17For assuming they actually bought the game and owned the game data
They tell this white lie because "Buy our game!" sounds much more attractive than "Pay for a permission slip to play our game!"
This whole thing is where the "bought game > said ****** in chat > got banned > money stolen" meme comes from.
"Oh, it all makes sense now, brother."
20 years ago, sure. But I don't see how today anyone can reasonably assume to own the game file of whatever they are downloading.logincrash wrote: ↑ November 12th, 2024, 13:44When you buy something, you assume you own it. People have successfully argued in court that nobody actually reads the ******* 1500 page loicense agreement before clicking Agree. This is the same argument of you can't say "You purchased our product" and pull the plug later.1998 wrote: ↑ November 12th, 2024, 14:0220 years ago, sure. Didn't this already made Steam change their storefront to say that you're purchasing a license and not buying a game? So, clearly there's some merit to it if Valve of all companies decides to cover it's *** on this.
