Lots of good games in that list. Valfaris is awesome for fans of sega genesis sidescrollers. Snake Pass is a surprisingly good and unique 3D platformer. And Guts and Glory is a dumb, janky game, but I got it for ~60 cents a long time ago in a fanatical bundle and found myself playing it for over 5 hours straight in the middle of the night.

Any suggestions for the capcom sale on Steam? I have my eye on Onimusha for nostalgia reasons but not sure if it's been modern day'd. Also one of the marvel vs capcom games but not sure which one.

GOG is giving the game away for the next two days so if you are at all interested this is a good time to pick up a DRM-Free copy.

If I remember correctly this is an adventure game of similar quality to Dragonsphere. Which isn't really surprising as MicroProse's MPS Labs developed both games.

Monster Train
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams

I would like these, please. I've had my eyes on Monster Train on a while now and this seems like the perfect opportunity to pick it up. Giana Sisters, on the other hand, has had interesting development history for the series as whole. Unfortunately, the company who developed it (Black Forest Games: previously Spellbound Entertainment), ended up running into financial issues and sold out to THQ Nordic and Embracer Group on August 2017. I despise those 2 pozzed companies so much for all the IPs they have sabotaged and will sabotage with DEI ****. It's a shame too since I used to like Black Forest's other series as well.

I enjoyed Giana Sisters very much. While it didn't have any mechanics that blew my mind, it was a solidly designed platformer. The only flaws that it had were the fact that it relied on replaying the same levels over and over to extend playtime for achievements and the janky hitboxes that unfairly caused deaths. The second problem wouldn't be an issue if it weren't for Hardcore and Uber Hardcore mode which make you replay the levels without checkpoints or the entire game without checkpoints respectively. They are also the reason I got burnt out by the end of the game.

7.5/10 Fun platformer with good visuals+music but repetitive side modes

I'm still working on Monster Train. It'll take more time to 100% due to being a rougelike. I've been having a blast with it so far!
