Hmm, with so much propaganda and idioticy, I'm curious if mods will be able to at least partially "unwoke" this game?
For example, delete Taash completely and fixing character creation.
At this point modders would have to remake the whole game
This was the gist of my earlier post.
Start over from the end of Origins, taking special care to **** on and destroy everything from the subsequent games, Disney Kathleen Kennedy Star Wars style.
They purposely retconned large parts of the earlier games with "reapers did it"
(this isn't a joke)
Thank you for your attention to this matter!

More fuel for the purging fire of decency and righteousness, then.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

Yeah, Patrick Weekes. The question is how does a 40+ year old man end up self-inserting as what's essentially a bratty teenage girl.
It would not particularly surprise me if one of Weekes' boys trooned/gayed/enbied out https://blog.bioware.com/2011/02/18/fac ... in-weekes/
I could definitely see him being one of those "vegan dog owner parents", if you know what I mean. Those kids never stood a chance with a father like him.

Just sitting at work minding my own business, and some **** actually asked me if I play that game. Not sure if that's a trap, but I'll keep my distance from now on.

Jim managed to alienate Yahtzee, if you can imagine.

I can't understand why would anyone be still following Jim's content. He's completely crazy.

He was OK for about 2 weeks a couple years back. After that his whole asset-flip, greedy corporations and poor game devs was getting tiring fast. And that was way before he was larping as a woman.

Actually he barely changed and probably one of the least surprising "transitions" ever

Physical changes usually reflect how you are inside, so if you purposely make the conscious decision of turning yourself into a hideous freak, then that's the most blatant way of saying you're a disgusting subhuman without actually saying it aloud.

It's literally a mental illness you can't mentally model if you're sane.
Like anorexia: "I look fat." "No, you weigh 50 pounds and I can see all your bones."
I doubt you can comprehend schizophrenia either. "They know the voices aren't real, so why do they keep arguing with them?"
They mostly can't see themselves the way others do. Or care.

That excerpt from the ***** lorebook entry in the game reads like the ramblings of a ******.

That being said, the art direction of BioWare game has been on a downward spiral from years - arguably ever since Baldur's Gate 2 with the weird shield sprites, and it has only gotten worse over time. Compare clothing and armors in Witcher games, to those in the Dragon Age games and first two Baldur's Gates.

Then again, Deadname is especially offensive. Taash, or whatever the **** it's called, has to be one of the ugliest designs in gaming history. Did BioWare hire the Command and Conquer 4 art department?

Not sure what you see in that game that you think might be worth saving. Just play DA:O if you want to play Dragon age.

This! Begun a new game on the release day of that abomination, and - god! - the battle of Ostagar is one of the strongest scenes in gaming!

Play DAO.

There are women in miniskirts manning the frontline and standing shoulder to shoulder with guys wearing heavy armour at Ostagar.
