Making me realize how much stuff in rogue trader that was just as bad if not worse I overlooked just because I liked (parts of) the setting.
I'd probably do it too here if the setting took itself seriously. I just have a hard time caring about anything when a game tries to be OH SO WHACKY~

What did they change at the initiative system? Apparently it's not totally OP anymore. Is it individual now?

That was like that already in the release version. But I thought they had change something so that most encounters are not basically over after the first turn

They did rebalance critical hits which did alleviate some of that.

Dunno. I'm definitely not min/maxed(I never look up builds online for RPGs), but there's no way I can kill more than one maybe two enemies in the first round.

Lots of very obvious cut content, to the point where parts of it is still in the game but unfinished.
A large chunk of the base game was cut out and sold as DLC, btw. For the ******* who claim this doesn't happen.

For the best, because that repurposed content was considered universally awful.

It's fine. It has a big difficulty bump, so I assume tards got butthurt.

Worse part is how Owlcat fans praise them for doing the bare minimum and declaring them the best studio for not completely ******** bad, people have no standards for games anymore.

I just look up build guide and mid max because Owlcat enemy encounters are **** and not worth my time and patience doing it blind.

So much of the story revolves around "muh elections". Why are libtards so obsessed with voting?

For the woman that ends up in your medbay, big spoilers with a very big BUT: there's no way to access this content in the game.

I'd consider creating a patch or something, but I have a hard time caring about the story in a game that doesn't take itself seriously. Goes right back to my very first complaint. The game's writing is the definition of tone whiplash.

I recorded the conversation for those that want to view the story because it's not normally available. I have no idea why it was left unfinished, it has full voiced dialogue and it's just a loose thread laying there.

Stupid ***** claims "diplomatic immunity" but uses not only no diplomacy but makes a strong case for her immediate execution...
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.

I never paid it any mind, I imagine that's true for most people. I have a vague recollection that she has to be there because she's referenced in some dialogue which is why they couldn't just cut her out entirely.

Don't know if I'll finish this, the writing is just not good. I'd say they had one good writer, and a bunch of other people adding stuff that is just abjectly bad. I feel zero attachment to any character or the story itself.
As far as level design goes, there's little exploration, most areas are linear and simple.

Also, steeltown is full of girlbosses and lesbians. Bad guy is a white male.

Need to look into frankenhacking together a regular .NET version for windows to enable mods
I got it working, but it doesn't detect DLC and there's no sound. Both issues are related to it thinking it's the linux version, presumably fixable with a bit of work.
