Dragon Age™: The Veilguard is a Return To Form
4,503 now. And the first review was of someone making a comparison of Dragon Age to Imagine Dragons.
Those are all reviews from the bundled geforce now copies, probably doesn't work out as they had hoped.Tag365 wrote: ↑ October 31st, 2024, 16:264,503 now. And the first review was of someone making a comparison of Dragon Age to Imagine Dragons.

Took 35 minutes to hit 11,065 and exceed the 10,000 player count. The game only has a few hours left to hit 100,000 before it fizzles out and starts declining.
Three out of five reviews are negative. It has too few reviews for Steam to register it as having any reviews for the page. Do you think this game will hit a ~50% review score on Steam?

It's a review that links to another website. So it's likely a review outlet review masked as a Steam user review.

This is funny, the cope squad is pushing the narrative that the reason the game isn't super high in players playing is because it is a large download (oh and people are at work). LOL

Doesn't it normally build up at first over the course of a few hours?
Don't they have the option to pre-install it?Xenich wrote: ↑ October 31st, 2024, 16:48This is funny, the cope squad is pushing the narrative that the reason the game isn't super high in players playing is because it is a large download (oh and people are at work). LOL
I can't believe this is an actual scene from the game. Do you think it will likely be around 50,000 to 100,000 at maximum? Or lower, or higher?

Funny watching the narrative change in this thread in real time

So far, the player count is increasing by about 3,000 per 5 minutes. At this rate 2:45 or so hours will have passed when it reaches 100,000, if it hits that target. Do you think the player count will peter out before three hours?

It took an hour to hit 25,083 consecutive players.
One person has reviewed the game and is encountering repeated crashes before even reaching the title screen.
Strangely Steam is still claiming the game has no user reviews on the store page. Seems like there's an arbitrary review timer that blocks review scores from appearing on just released games for a few hours.

I wouldn't say modders made the game better for the majority of the playerbase (mods removing or blocking woke trash). You only find them here pretty much, anything else from Nexus to any patreon page will either be neutral/normal or be one of those low rated gay mod adding a **** to shadowheart or a pussy to Wyll.Xenich wrote: ↑ October 31st, 2024, 14:06At its core, it isn't a bad game (though a there are some issues with it on the purely objective game mechanic front) and that is due to Larians experience and design.Tag365 wrote: ↑ October 31st, 2024, 13:57At least Baldur's Gate 3 had some merit and was somewhat comparable in gameplay to its predecessors. Dragon Age: The Veilguard looks like a Hogwarts Legacy knockoff, a far cry from the first three games which were not action RPGs. So of course it's getting controversy and unfavorable comparisons to Baldur's Gate 3 which only launched a year ago.
Also, people who compare its success are dismissing the nefarious nature of its release. Many will attest to the fact that EA vs Release are very different in many ways and they hid many aspects (also changing many things for release) of those changes. Not to mention, EA was Act 1 and while it is still infested with the politics, many people "tolerated" it due to game play. Act 2/3 are horrible on pretty much all fronts and full on troonism politics, but obviously by that time people had already committed.
If it weren't for the work of modders ripping out a lot of the garbage, I don't think the "aftertaste" of BG3 release would have set well with most people (and it still doesn't for many).
The whole narrative of BG3 being an acceptance of Woke is just more echo speak of cope that the ****** use to lie to themselves about their work which is why without the key elements/circumstances of BG3's release, these games are flopping hard.
BG3 is better as the trash isn't up in your face (except in Act3 from what I heard, didnt got there yet). You can choose to say **** this or go with it. You can delete Astarion right after he acts like the ***** he is.
From what we see with Wokeguard, it's a railroad, that or nothing
We're pretending this is bad now?
Yea I'm sure it's a conspiracy and not just taking a while for this game that released an hour ago updating it's store page after an influx of users and postsTag365 wrote: ↑ October 31st, 2024, 17:01Strangely Steam is still claiming the game has no user reviews on the store page. convinced you can make a game and just put whatever you want in the last act and nobody will care because only 5% of players will actually see it7Trickster wrote: ↑ October 31st, 2024, 17:07BG3 is better as the trash isn't up in your face (except in Act3 from what I heard, didnt got there yet). Why in that case? Well, consider that "bullying" became a major narrative for the crowd that is now pushing "faggotry/troonism". So, victimize them, then proclaim all who would do such bullying as evil to silence any opposition to that cancer culture (faggotry).Faceless_Sentinel wrote: ↑ October 31st, 2024, 16:09Xenich wrote: ↑ October 31st, 2024, 15:22It is something that has been done in various ways throughout history to shape public opinion.Faceless_Sentinel wrote: ↑ October 31st, 2024, 15:15
As you can guess, I'm not from us, so I need explanation.
I don't care where you live, it is being done to you as well. It can be anything from how they control the news, what elements of entertainment, societal norms they promote, etc...
Healthy nations will often promote good standards in its public, while others will promote a means to develop control or manipulate opinion.
Enemy nations will use such to influence other countries to cause disruptions, strife and conflict.
Welcome to the world.
I mean what is the point of programming nations in this way:But products of your culture says otherwise! Judging by movies, cartoons and news of this period, you westoids bullied random people to death with no big reason, just for fun. Tabletop nerds, videogame nerds, book nerds weren't left alone, they were bullied, sometimes till suicide.
Why us made movies, cartoons and other media about bullying nerds to death? What was the point of this type of programming?
By the way, my experience having lived through the early days of AD&D (ie table top nerds, video game nerds, etc...), the ones who were bullied harshly, weren't because of that, but because they were ALSO ****, deviants, etc...
Kids used to play D&D games on the bus to and from school, without issue. Many kids played video games (ie atari or went to arcades) and that was never a "bullying" issue. The ones who had serious problem were always the deviants, the **** who were awkward around the other boys, the mentally ill who had serious problems dealing with people socially.
There were always various levels of bullying to many, but nothing serious in most cases (ie name calling, joking, pranks, etc...).
The ones who got the brunt were as a I said, and by the way... those kids who killed themselves, look closely into why. Most either had extreme problems at home (abuse, molestation, etc..) and/or were also sexually deviant wierdos who did not fit in with the social norm ranges, they were outcasts because of those specifics, not because they got teased for gaming, that also is "Programming".

The vast majority of copies(not sold at deep discount) sell in the first week, and of that, about half on the first day.
