I think back then most people were complaining that its only more of the same. Now looking back it was at least a proper expansion and not DLC garbage.

I started playing DaO ages ago thinking it was going to sweep one of these polls. Had the final charsheet screenshots sitting in some random folder for months .. until last week when I forgot to back it up and changed os.

I wonder if there's any good mods for Jade Empire in this day and age.
It's a good game, it just had the misfortune of being made primarily as a console game.
It has a tremendous amount of soul.

I remember being ****** at how the added mechanical content (new specializations, whatever) weren't integrated well at all, but the expansion campaign itself was solid, provided one enjoyed DA:O to begin with.

I remember looking into it, but from what I've seen there were very few mods for the game. IIRC there was a total of 1 (one) mod that wasn't some texture upscale, patch to get the game working on modern systems or insubstantial change.
