@Pizza Would you like to change your choice for #5?
My bad. Please change it to Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

@Jordy You can leave it as is, the ones after 3 to 6 kind of change depending on the day, so this current order is as good as any.

1. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
2. Dragon Age: Origins
3. Chrono Trigger
4. Final Fantasy X
5. Fallout 2

Honestly narrowing down a top 5, and then deciding the exact ranking besides, feels a little arbitrary. I could easily put FFII or Chrono Cross in for X, or Underrail in for Fallout 2 (holistically it really is probably a stronger game, but Fallout gets points for Lore). But there were some amongst my favourite 10 or so that I've put infinity playtime into, so I guess that's the revealed preference that should make the difference.

If anyone cares, the median release year of the top 10 is 2001.

There is no such thing as an action rpg, so, obviously, the original.

Do you think it's worth adding a year column? It complicates things for games like Dragon's Dogma I guess.

1) Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
2) Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines
3) Pillars of Eternity
4) Dragon Age: Origins
5) Cyberpunk 2077

Honestly, a list of 5 is too short.

Deus Ex was October's game in the Junior Adventurer's Guild if you finish it.

viewtopic.php?t=1060-adventurer-s-guild ... s-upcoming

You don't have to finish the game in the month it was listed to get the badge.

I think the top 10 shuffled around, but the median remains 2001.
Half of the top 10 are RPGs without magic, which is interesting.

Medieval fantasy is very underrepresented, especially so depending on where you'd put Morrowind. 2-3 medieval fantasy, and 3-4 medieval games overall in the top 10.

It's interesting how few games in the top spots are strictly class-based. I'm not sure if I'd even lump PST in that list because you can freely switch your class.
