Jeez it would be really terrible if everyone just suddenly spent a lot of money on HQ platinum to show him wrong haha

unless…?
Come on people, do it.

Dragon Age lore sounds so boring. I cannot imagine being a hard-core fan of it. There's an obvious lack of real vision behind any of it. What's the point in getting invested in a mythology where the entire theming and genre changes on a whim?
it always seemed like the most milquetoast, half-assed fantasy setting to me, notable only because it's a fuckin dating sim like all bioware games
Darkspawn were quite good as the antagonist. People always banged on about them looking like orcs, but I thought that was just the genlocks. Other than that, it was indeed mostly just by the book world crafting.
I've only put serious time into Inquisition and I don't think they were in that one if I recall correctly.
I'm just stating the facts.
Question is are you going to gargle the truth or swallow?

Only in some side quests of the main campaign and one of the expansions.
Ah, and yes. In multiplayer. Usually I forget about that, because it is ... well, not particularly good.

I think it was a 4 player coop dungeon crawling experience. You had a MP specific character and leveled up, got better gear and went into progressively harder content. Hell, if you want we can play.

They changed their design for the worse in the 2nd game already. They were only ever good in DaO and awakening.

That is correct, unfortunately. They infantilized the darkspawn already in DAE. The hurlocks basically became skeletons and the ogres look quite a bit like Lucretius in an unmodded BG3 game.

having them be the designated servant race screams for a subplot of elves as assassins or spies but no, outside of Zevran that's only ever implied, never shown.
In DAO, sure, but Inquisition had a whole bunch of subplots with city elf spies/assassins. The insufferable elf **** companion uses her network of servants and urchins to spy and the Orlesian Empress' elf **** lover uses her own elf servant network to both spy and assassinate. Solas later sends his own elves to pose as low-ranking members and servants to spy on the Inquisition.
****, even DA2 had an elven Qunari spy/assassin who poses as a less important member of your entourage as you're infiltrating a duke's chateau.
See my "never shown" point. They tell us that all of that **** is there somewhere offscreen but we never see it. Especially in Orlais, the only person we actually see doing any spying is the player character and team. The elf **** does literally nothing and her plan hinges entirely on the player doing her a favour.

(Ironically I hate all three of the major players and supported the elf **** for no other reason than that I could kill off the empress ***** and make Gaspard miserable. Screw all three of them, the writers made all of them perfectly unlikeable.)

Guy who gets upset about the word ****** being used so much doesn't understand why people think he doesn't fit in here and should **** off to the site that censors the word ****** for soft **** like himself.
Thanks, I was too lazy to read all this “debate”. A summary is better :read:

They were in like, one part of Orlais (a desert where one of the big 'Forts' you could claim for the Inquisition was), the Storm Coast in Ferelden, and all over the first part of The Descent DLC.

Palestinian elves would be hilarious because elves are **** written by presumably a jew because of how narcissistic they're written. If you know DA lore, you know what I mean: everything is elves. Elves did everything, humans are just cattle that are copying them, they worship elves, elvez wuz godz, etc.,

Hey, might start reminding you of how a certain group views themselves and others…

I can't wait to pirate it and see just how blighted it is to the core with the progressive faggotry. I used to feel sad and disappointed by BioWare's corruption, but now I'm morbidly curious.
