I saw a video that showed if you have your main character and the rest of your party standing near Aylin while inside a Silence spell and have Shart talk to Aylin, Shart will kill Aylin without any input from you and Isobel and the inn will survive. They actually put lines in the game to have Isobel reference Aylin being dead.Envergence wrote: ↑ August 2nd, 2024, 22:40
The only reason I won't (in Act 2 at least) is because I don't want all the people at the inn to die from the Shadow Curse. Pretty annoying of Larian to make so many lives hinge upon their insufferable OCs. I'm probably just going to wait until after the Shadow Curse is lifted to kill them (assuming I can indeed safely kill them at that point without everyone else dying).

Why did they record those only to then prevent you from ever killing Aylin without losing Last Light?Tamyn wrote: ↑ October 14th, 2024, 02:22They actually put lines in the game to have Isobel reference Aylin being dead.
This is a rhetorical question, of course. They're keeping a bunch of innocents hostage to prevent their strong independent lesbian from being speared.
I wonder how much dialogue that was supposed to be inaccessible can be accessed by doing shenanigans like thatTamyn wrote: ↑ October 14th, 2024, 02:22I saw a video that showed if you have your main character and the rest of your party standing near Aylin while inside a Silence spell and have Shart talk to Aylin, Shart will kill Aylin without any input from you and Isobel and the inn will survive. ****, I'm tempted to keep Shart alive just so I can use these exploits to kill both of them while still lifting the Shadowcurse.
Can't stand her, though, so I'm willing to just use one of these methods to safely get rid of Isobel, at least. I like the former best because you don't have to metagame, and it's lower effort:
From what I've heard so far, it sounds like just killing one of the two makes the other significantly less insufferable.

Truly, the fact that people try so many things to kill these two ******* shows just what an excellent job the writers and game designers did.Envergence wrote: ↑ October 14th, 2024, 19:33****, I'm tempted to keep Shart alive just so I can use these exploits to kill both of them while still lifting the Shadowcurse.

Edit: Probs to the people who figured this out though.

I freed Aylin then killed Isobel at LL on my first Durge playthrough, so I got both the "love interest tying Durge up at camp" and the "turning into the Slayer" cutscenes.
