When it comes to Warhammer, it should have no "Evil, Good or Neutral" choices.
If you play a human, you should only have dogmatic choices, since Iconoclast should get you killed off by the people you try to help and Heretic choices should kill you off because you are a ******* heretic.

It's for the twitter ******* that dislike the imperium or the overly goody two shoe that thinks saving everyone is a viable choice in Warhammer.
I’m no twitter *** however when I’m playing a CRPG I kinda expect player freedom in being Evil , Good , neutral or none of the above.
this is like playing the witcher games and getting mad that you're geralt
wh40k doesn't have "evil, good, neutral"
The Witcher games don’t label themselves a CRPG so that’s a moot point.

I agree but since Owlcat wanted to make a CRPG. Doing away with those aspects would undermine a lot of the reasons people play those games for. Honestly it doesn’t really make sense to have such alignment system in Warhammer 40k setting.

If I were a cynical man I would say Owlcat choose the Warhammer: 40k because It was popular IP that they didn’t have to pay exorbitant license fee in using which would sell more then there previous games.

Do you also experience the game having ****** performance? I have a good PC and in many areas, one of the most notable ones being the bridge, my fans go into overdrive and the PC gets warm like I was playing Total War on maximum settings with a several thousand man battle

Come to think of it, it was the same with Pillars of Eternity II, both being games that do look "good", but should nowhere near be as demanding :|

CRPG’s are usually referred to simulating the Table Top Role Playing experience in a video game.

Many people have different interpretations of CRPG however game studios like Larian and Owlcat have said that there CRPG’s go for simulating the experience of a TTRP.

So you are correct it can just mean a computer role playing game but other people view CRPG differently’s and build games around that premise.

Neither sides are incorrect in the meaning of what’s is a CRPG since game genres are very nebulous by there nature.

That actually helped. Still not running quite as I'd like or expect, but it's a very noticable difference and I can actually hear the game instead of my fans. Thanks!

Grand strategist is way better than master tactician IMO, by the way. After fumbling around with the archetype for a while, my rogue trader finally feels like he's worthy of a spot on the team.
Then again, a bunch of my archetypes are counter to what people said are "good" and are "bottom tier", but I'm playing fine on unfair when I assume they're not even playing unfair, so…

Really wish each character had their own inventories along with a single shared inventory, I swap gear a lot and I have to dig thru my entire bag to find it.

It's indeed way worse in this game when compared to Kingmaker and WotR. More often than not this way of describing stuff feels "fanficy" and unnecessarily overdetailed, a simple [This man is hunched over and has a mechanical arm] would've sufficed.

Commoragh actually isn't that long, ESPECIALLY compared to WotR Act IV. Once you get out it's back to being Space Conquistador.
length isn't the problem, its the fact that I have to go through my entire inventory and reequip everything for EVERYONE.
in roguey trader it automatically re-equipped all my characters btw

got tired of reading so I started hacking on the voice mod that uses the windows builtin TTS (booo!!!!) to use a much better TTS(yay!!!!)

notably, this supports custom voice models. The one I used is only a medium quality demo model.

It takes a couple seconds to generate the text tho, so I could probably have it cache the files and the cache could be distributed with the model. Probably wouldn't be too hard to just pull all the dialogue files and generate them.
First attempt at training a custom model, just a prototype and obviously not done yet but I had to learn how to do the training.

Doing a full training now :turtle:

Going to redo the transcription of the audio clips and redo the training, but it's starting to sound decent actually.

The stuff you see in BG3 mods or similar is using voice-to-voice, not TTS.
