It also seems that Sony is not pleased at all by the response of the trailer either, and if the rumor above is true, then understandably so.

They are likely sweating a lot - they have a few more guaranteed GaaS flops in the pipeline, and they are probably banking on their still marketable IPs to make up for the catastrophic losses they are going to suffer in 2024 and 2025.

They likely could have avoided much of the controversy if they hadn't deliberately gone out of their way to hire the VA equivalent of Yoko Ono, instead of some attractive Japanese VA without all the *****/activist baggage.

TLDR:


-Key talent from Sucker Punch who made GOT have left.


-All major game design/ story decisions are by community.


-The people who made the Iki Island expansion are the ones leading the production of Ghost of Yōtei.


-Original plan was to continue the story of Jin Sakai focusing on his war on the mongrels. It was described as Assassins creed Brotherhood but better in every way but got halted and changed in production.


-Ghost of Yōtei may be smaller then GOT because of development problems behind the scenes.


-The reason why Ghost of Yōtei is set 300 years in the future is because it would be more believable staring a woman in Sucker Punch internal talks.


-Ending of Yōtei will **** a lot of people off.


-If reception of Yōtei doesn’t improve Sony will scale the game back the overall content package.


-Sony is developing future Ghost titles.


-GOY is nowhere near complete and very unlikely to release in 2025.


-VA for Atsu in GOY is nightmare to work with that even other woke people think she’s crazy.

I haven't seen any video of it walking, but its shoulders and arms look female to me. Maybe one with a bit of a hormone problem, but shoulders in particular are a fairly good giveaway and this one has the rounded shoulder shape I would expect. Furthermore its waist and hips also look right, which are much more important (Shakira was right, you know). I don't have a lot of data and I'm not going to make a firm judgement, but I will say that everything is within ***** lesbian parameters.

It's pretty ugly but that's not exactly unusual for foids, especially past the sell-by date.

A fun fact for you guys. Erika isn't Japanese. She is a Taiwanese American who is going to be playing a Japanese woman. Once again another case of Japanese erasure. I think she is a hapa. She talks about part of her family being Taiwanese and another part Japanese. Again, the Japanese don't look kindly on this. In a game that takes place in the 1600's they expect the character to be Japanese. Hapa's weren't really prevalent around that time and even then they were frowned upon. I think I am starting to get a grasp on what Ishii character is going to be like. A rip off of Mizu from Blue Eye Samurai. Complete with tragic hapa backstory. Oh boy! GoY is being made for the same reasons as Joker 2. It was because the wrong people liked the first game and now they want to punish and humiliate fans of the first. This is starting to become a common theme with the Western entertainment industry right now. These companies are literally burning hundreds of millions of dollars just to try to own the "Chuds". This is how you know that the pendulum is starting the swing back the other way. This is just the Left lashing out in anger as they begin to lose power.
