She's a female ******, of course she's ugly by default.

Still, it's impressive they managed to make her even more grotesque.

you guys have no idea how soul crushing it is to know a publisher will never let me throw $200 million dollars away by making a game based solely on my ideology

Better a 5/10 design than a 1/10 design.

Moral of the story, do not let mentally ill liberal women anywhere near a 250 million dollar project.

The truly terrifying thing is that I can't tell if this is real or a parody.

John Concord is a true American! don't ever doubt him! He's fighting every day on Twitter to protect both you and me. Even though I don't use Twitter, so he's not really protecting me from anything.

I bet the developers of the game were so excited to hear about this petition - until they read it..

It was probably a ray of hope, rushing around the office "Look our fans love us! Quick open it! What did they say! How many signatures?!" - then utter defeat as the rug pulled out from beneath them.

Gamers have spoken!
Concord Concordion
I was too busy tending the family (they all love Concord) and my pets (they're all named after Concord characters) to play Concord during that week. Now that they're out of the situation I have all of the time necessary to boot up some Concord! Sony, if you have any Concord in your heart, please Concord us Concord fans with more Concord.
I was too busy to play Overwatch or see the newest Guardians of the Galaxy. And then I was too busy to try Concord. I might be busy again but it's worth a shot.
Please bring back Concord! I really want to watch this game crash and burn again—it's oddly satisfying!

The game's fate was sealed long before this fake petition went live, I'm basically under the assumption that the developer has ceased all operations already. This was intended to be their sole focus for years, with multiple seasons and ongoing storylines. Without Concord, there is no Firewalk.

SEGA pulled the plug on a similar disaster, Hyenas, prior to it's release and it still resulted in the firing of it's entire development team I believe. Sony doubtlessly spent even more money on this, and had to pay whatever costs were necessary to get it online to begin with. So it's a done deal, it'd be a miracle if this studio is still active after the year's end.

BioWare exists because it's a mature studio and it's IPs are still perceived as valuable, and after the disaster that was Anthem, they quickly pivoted back to Dragon Age and likely promised EA's execs that it'll be a success. If that game fails, BioWare will meet the same fate.

Fittingly enough Hyenas looks like it could have been made by the devs of Concord.

Concord and its limited edition controller have pretty much become collector items on eBay.

Image
I can kind of see the appeal. This game is probably the biggest disaster in gaming history and there are PlayStation fanboys out there that make it an effort to collect all of the hard copies of every PlayStation game ever made. This game will probably be as collectable as the old ET for Atari games are.
The ******* EBAYERS will make more money than the devs / publisher hahahahahah.

Do you all think this game will stay dead, or will they attempt to remake it to make it "good"? To be honest, for this game to become good, it would need such extensive reworking that it might be better to just create an entirely new game. There's no way they can pull off a Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn-style revival with this mess. If they do try to revive it, I hope they consider developing a single-player campaign to utilize their lore, with the single-player component being a paid experience and the multiplayer a standalone free-to-play game.

But let's be honest—Sony will probably just let it languish in obscurity, forgotten like a slice of cheese in the frigde you find 4 to 5 years later and end up throwing away.
The core engine sucks.
I posted a video comparing it to Killzone 2, a Sony lead console title from 15 years prior.
The guns sound and feel weak, explosions are sad, the environment ignores gameplay.
It's not salvageable without a few talented devs coming in and rewriting the game.
And then you have to re-do the color scheme, redesign some of levels, and delete all the characters and make new ones.
Why would anyone do that for a tainted game?
Make a new one and re-use the decent code.
You may as well not bother replying to my posts if it's to argue anything except concrete facts or your personal opinion. I still probably won't see it.
Reject your retarded-wing political programming and learn to think.
If you can.
