As opposed to all of those first party mods
I'm guessing it's third-party because they are not vetted by the devs via their mod menu ****.

Oh btw, the tabaxi mod that I mentioned a while ago.

That's adorable, how can i get this mod?
You either wait till it's out completely or you paypig on patreon to get it. (I am thinking about doing the 4 bucks a month to get it and then upload it here, since there is no telling how long it will take the furry to finish the mod)

Just a heads up guys, BG3 Mod Manager is broken
The dev for BG3MM seems inactive so if it stays broken, I'll look into forking it and uploading here.
This is an issue that perhaps need to be fixed before I dare try patch 7, at least. Thanks for warning us!

Pretty sure this new Mod Manager menu from Larian doesn't have Load Order management

We should update our mods with the image preview stuff though @orinEsque

If you aren't ready to be on Patch 7, Larian provided a way to downgrade

This is good right?

Edit: One can only imagine how far we can take our POC erasure with this power

When I thought I was done, they pulled me back in! I can't wait to see the marvelous things that will be created with such power. Can you check if you can edit the dialogue?

The portraits are a godsent for the modders. I think all of the BBA/NoAlphabet mods ran into problems with portraits not getting updated when the models were changed.

Maybe it's because I just started using it, but it seems like I can do way more in this thing than I was expecting

Haven't found anything related to cutscene or dialogue editing yet. It does have a "Story Editor" window, but it's not very intuitive

I won't definitively say it's over or we're so back yet

I have to get back to being a wagie. I'll check the tools out more later today.

Also it seems like BG3MM's dev came out of hiding and is fixing it

That looks like a cross between a script editor and a 2DA editor NWN style, or the script editor and plot editor if viewing it with the DA toolset perspective. Some sort of weird dialect of C, like many games in this genre?

’m happy it’s not just a CC mod toolkit, lol. To be honest, I was hoping Larry-On wouldn’t play it too safe out of fear of breaking the game with every update. They might not have completely nuke the modding scene like Bethesda did with every Skyrim/Fallout 4 update, but the modding tools might not be as robust as i (Delusionally wished) expected. BG3 becoming Skyrim 2 might be not possible... ssh, it might not even reach Risk of Rain 2 levels of modding.

I think the limited mod tools is one of the few cases where the fault lies with WOTC and not Larian. Wizards invested heavily into their VTT platform D&D Beyond, so I imagine they didn't want to compete with BG3 for the same audience and told them to limit the mod tools to cosmetics and fluff.

I think that's because I opened GustavDev manually, which you can't edit directly

Stop drip feeding vague teases.

Can we add level data to the game or not? Can we crowd source remaking BG1 in this engine?

I want to make a mod but I'm having a dickens of a time getting this tool to work via proton to connect to the data files. I've had to jump through a lot of hoops and it appears the tool is stuck on starting services :(. I'm looking for if they included some sort of logging so I can see why it might not be working.
