Oh, I might have mispoke, I guess the gun toting nuns in the in the Guardian Citadel might be considered women in power, but you never talk to them and they never say anything to you about women's lib or male inferiority. You just turn them all into a fine, red mist.
One of the default party characters is "Angela Deth".

You can make your own party members.

Both Spongebob games have only minor female characters as far as I'm aware. Including Sandy. Certified kid friendly.

A female character gets mentioned in either Geisterjager or Geisterturm, I think it's Jaeger, but never makes an appearance. There might have been some other minor appearance of an npc I'm not quite remembering in one of the games, but no major plot point. Otherwise everyone who contacts you is a guy. All of your handlers are guys, everyone who wants to kill you is a guy or otherwise a robot.

One of the first survival horror style games. Made on the Commodore 64 by Dynamix. Go onboard a research ship to find out why they stopped communicating and discover an out of control experiment. As time goes on things get worse by the moment and you're on the clock. The only girl is a damsel in distress, you can save her or leave her to a very (for 1989) bloody fate if you don't rescue her in time (or just ignore her). Multiple endings.

By the way I don't give a **** about default party members or what some game that came out decades later canonized and if you want to fight me on it we can go any time anywhere in a deathmatch and I'll kick your ***.

Surprised nobody mentioned Gears of War 1-2, those games were badass and the only females present were Anya (non-combat role) and the queen of the grubs

Shadowgate.

You're a prince dude trying to stop an evil wizard guy in a first person adventure game. Most people know it from the NES adaptation instead of the original MacVenture title. There's no important womyn, but there's one women in the game who's a weremonster you need to kill or else she kill you and when you win you get a princess along with a kingdom. A sequel done in the style of the 8-bit game just dropped, dunno if it has important female characters in it.
