Just one.
How would you feel if you hadn't had breakfast this morning?
Probably like I do most days, since I tend to skip breakfast and go straight for the coffee. So also this morning. I feel fine. It's the evening now. I am beginning to feel a little tired.
And this is relevant to this thread in what way...?

This fixed quite a lot about what is wrong with this game (probably at least 25%). Der Kleine Vampir ist tot.

No idea. I don't use twitter and I'm not fragile enough to use an ignore button.

It's like blocking someone but fk (****** kuk?) has a humiliation fetish so he willingly chooses to read the posts of the 20 or so people he has blocked anyway.

phpbb doesn't even have an ignore function, it's all custom code we(read: me) added.
It's also not finished because I get sidetracked easily. :pipe-thinking:

I am quite happy so long as I can ignore the less eloquent members here when I want to, and then pop up to have their brains implode once in a while to reveal they are about as mature as kindergarteners and as sane as their libtard counterparts at Nexusmods, thank you. :bounce:

The only missing thing is it still shows ignored posters on the forum overviews/recent topics.
I made a conscious decision to not add thread ignore.

I go for quality over quantity - so long as there are some decent people here I can interact with, I can make do without you and your fanclub. I can still see your prattling if I want to, but I would prefer to be able to post anything here without you and your ilk attacking innocent 3rd parties, i.e., my wife. In that regard you behave exactly like the toxic libtards of Reddit and Disqus and other platforms (including Nexus).
I have no desire nor need to continue this shitstorm. If you and the others I've put on "hold" can behave, so can I.
(an insult now and again if I say something you think stupid is perfectly acceptable, but direct it at me - not those I hold dear)

She's hardly innocent, being a living corpse tree of (false) enlightenment and all. Or was that your sister? I can't recall; it's been a while since I played the game. You've got the Irenicus aesthetic nailed down, if nothing else. I mentally read each of your posts using Irenicus's voice as you speak in the same manner. Of course, you will never see this comment because you're ignoring me. Surely, one who cannot be caged nor controlled wouldn't stoop so low as to read comments from people he's ignoring, right?

Does this forum have some overlap with other communities which use the same accounts? These one of those has hundreds ignored... and one has 3k posts but never saw those really.

edit: and to at to the discussion no Astarion must stay he maybe has a ****** voice but if u play without any gay romance he is the best companion if you wanna troll do evil stuff. All the others are just disapproving constantly. That shouldnt even been shown really in the game if they disapprove. Better to leave that hidden, invites just save scumming. And the hardcore players will use guides anyway if they want a certain outcome in relations.

No, I don't want to remove Astarion because he has a ****** voice or because he very often behaves as one (if it looks, walks, sounds...) but because the character is utterly flawed/non-believable and antithetical to D&D altogether. It's like that shrill on RPGCodex who told us to "remember to consider the personality traits of demons" or some such nonsense. Astarion is an undead horror; he has far greater problems than not being able to stand the sun (without the tadpole or the ritual, anyway). Now, I like unexpected twists and turns in a story, but the entire character simply doesn't add up. Or, he adds up if one is a fan of 12-year old girls' favorite TV series (Twitlight, was it?).
PLUS, he looks like Billy Idol (on the loading screen at least). I can't stand Billy Idol.

Gotta say, Astarion's story is particularly compelling and well-crafted compared to the rest of the companions and I was one of those people that hated him and always told myself "OK, when I finally get to play the game, he is dead the moment I see him"

No, it started when I pointed out that despite NA there still are gays in the game. And yes, I have no problem with that - so long as NA makes the game better anyway. If all gays are removed, that's fine too, as they really do not have much bearing on the story and at least in D&D lore are more than "somewhat" misplaced (I admit I am not very much into 5e lore - but I do know quite a bit about 1e, 2e and 3.5 - and no, gays were no more common in the Forgotten Realms than they were in the real-world medieval ages).

All I want is a good game. With or without gays, I don't care that much about this. And I again thank orinesque and others for actually making the game bearable after chapter 2.

Now, it still says in the description for NA:
⤴Current Exceptions
If an identity adds to the game/ too embedded in lore / would not be out of place in medieval times it has not been altered.

1. Raphael's er preferences were genuinely funny.
3. Circus dopplegangers - in a circus + shapeshifter.
4. Alfira and Lakrissa - do not advertise their relationship.
5. Nine-fingers - in criminal underbelly & embedded in DnD lore.

I.e., those who claim they "don't accept a game with gays" are ******** their own pants if they play the game after all then, since it is quite clear that THERE STILL ARE GAYS PRESENT. Which, by logic, means they must accept if they play the game. Capisce?

When I pointed out this fact someone who obviously should read their own links to "how to understand a text" I got a short "I know more than you" for reply, but STILL THE DESCRIPTION SAYS THERE ARE GAYS in the game.

If orin removes the last ones - fine. I don't care; so long as I don't have to endure dame Aylin go "I wanna **** my GIRLFRIEND" in every other sentence or so, I don't care. Or watch the entire Ironhand clan of gnomes go extinct, because a PC fanfiction writer decided that each and every one of them should be gay. Those characters are utterly ridiculous and cringe-worthy, and orin improved the game about 500% by fixing those two things only (and 300% by fixing Lucretious).
However, I still do not have any problems with e.g., Lakrissa and Alfira - reason given above.

Again, I just want a good game. And the point of my post was in fact first and foremost a question if someone could provide a list of HQ's recommended mods (and install order, if necessary). At least we got that, thanks to loregamer.

But still you play the game. With gays in it (unless you have modded the last of them out otherwise, of course).
So, you are probably just as OK with it as I am. And you will be, if orin (or someone else) remove the last ones. As I will be.
Where is the problem, really?
