No, it started when I pointed out that despite NA there still are gays in the game. And yes, I have no problem with that - so long as NA makes the game better anyway. If all gays are removed, that's fine too, as they really do not have much bearing on the story and at least in D&D lore are more than "somewhat" misplaced (I admit I am not very much into 5e lore - but I do know quite a bit about 1e, 2e and 3.5 - and no, gays were no more common in the Forgotten Realms than they were in the real-world medieval ages).
All I want is a good game. With or without gays, I don't care that much about this. And I again thank orinesque and others for actually making the game bearable after chapter 2.
Now, it still says in the description for NA:
⤴Current Exceptions
If an identity adds to the game/ too embedded in lore / would not be out of place in medieval times it has not been altered.
1. Raphael's er preferences were genuinely funny.
3. Circus dopplegangers - in a circus + shapeshifter.
4. Alfira and Lakrissa - do not advertise their relationship.
5. Nine-fingers - in criminal underbelly & embedded in DnD lore.
I.e., those who claim they "don't accept a game with gays" are ******** their own pants if they play the game after all then, since it is quite clear that THERE STILL ARE GAYS PRESENT. Which, by logic, means they must accept if they play the game. Capisce?
When I pointed out this fact someone who obviously should read their own links to "how to understand a text" I got a short "I know more than you" for reply, but STILL THE DESCRIPTION SAYS THERE ARE GAYS in the game.
If orin removes the last ones - fine. I don't care; so long as I don't have to endure dame Aylin go "I wanna **** my GIRLFRIEND" in every other sentence or so, I don't care. Or watch the entire Ironhand clan of gnomes go extinct, because a PC fanfiction writer decided that each and every one of them should be gay. Those characters are utterly ridiculous and cringe-worthy, and orin improved the game about 500% by fixing those two things only (and 300% by fixing Lucretious).
However, I still do not have any problems with e.g., Lakrissa and Alfira - reason given above.
Again, I just want a good game. And the point of my post was in fact first and foremost a question if someone could provide a list of HQ's recommended mods (and install order, if necessary). At least we got that, thanks to loregamer.
